.... am feeling like this beautiful fragrant Rose today… full of love & Romance… Bobby Vinton .. Dream Symbol: Rose…The rose symbolizes femininity, beauty, love, and romance. Roses also have profound spiritual significance, representing good and evil, life and death. The colors of the petals are also symbolic: white is purity, red is passion, pink is romance, black is death. ...Photos taken in my garden….Norfolk Broads UK….as is straight out of the camera Olympus fe 35/30 DPI 314 f-stop 4.6 ISO -100 35mm 36 ....
Just a simple collage of a sunflower in many different hues.
This is my latest collage and so far the most complex. Many, many layers later… Please click on it to see a larger version as some of the detail is hard to see in this smaller version. The dragonfly – a grasshawk – has been handpainted and then been combined with the background. Here’s the dragonfly on my blog I’ve used lots of textures this time, including some of my own: / Absynthium Stock Flame Textures / Buzillo Grunge / Fudgegraphics Grunge Nebula / Freaky665 Memories / Princess of Shadows Vintage Grunge / Lordarq Clouds I have also used several of my own, including one of sea glass pebble, and sand, a photograph of the breakers at Southwold, a cloud picture etc. etc. It was a more difficult picture to work at as the lighting needed to be right to make you feel like you’re looking at a storm without all the detail washing out. The title is inspired of course by Shakespeare’s Tempest.

If you look, there are some distortions and things that maybe shouldn’t be in a tranquil scene such as this. That is of our doing, and we should concentrate on our efforts to bring harmony back to our Mother Earth. / / Large View HERE / Pick of the Week in Back in Black. Thank you very much! :) / Featured in Digital Art Compilations. Thank you! :) / Featured in EMI – The Group. Thanks a lot! :-)
