The straightforward capture and construction of this image was taken a step further by overlays and a single time filter. Creating a image in this fashion relinquishes control to an added degree. A partnership is formed with technology. This is far from uncommon though an acknowledgement with respect and gradtitude extended towards what the device has contributed is often lacking.

Illustrator and PhotoshopCS2 digital collage. I wanted to change my original Garden Swinger into a Pascaled version, I could not decide whiched I prefered, so I’ve Kept both! Finding images in my photo collection, of my plants from my garden and on the internet and creating more in Illustrator, playing around with some affects like image transparency, filters, layers, cutting and pasting. I have used the swing image from one of my favourite paintings, titled The Swing, by Fragopnard.
