  A radial rodent-barrier as viewed over the pavement wall on Grand Parade, above Pulteney Weir in the lovely city of Bath, in England’s South West. The lovely smokey background is simply the turbulent water, swirling close to the river’s edge below the barrier.

  Here’s my first Haiku to accompany this photo - Time and tide now spanned … / Autumn dusk quells hunter’s hope / Of bountiful day / . / / . / A lone fisherman with his rod and small shelter, on the banks of the River Severn where it flows into the Bristol Channel, overlooking the Second Severn Crossing and M4 road bridge. This stretch of estuary-bank is called Aust Warth. / .
