It was snowing tonight just when spring began. :-/ / I loved the look of the snowflakes on my lens and on the branches.

Colorado has all sorts of odd weather…when I shot this, it was 80 almost in Denver, what little did I know I would be driving through a snowstorm up in the mountains and then get this scene here which looks like October sometime, when in reality this was June! This was actually a compilation of two little drawings I did along with the series of landscapes that I did a small while back. I wanted to put both features that I liked into one picture. I think this worked well. Prismacolor pens, brush pens, white paint pen and prismacolor pencil. 2008

Taken during our most recent 12 inch snow, I really wanted to captures the snow “freezing” (no pun intended) motion and I liked the colors on my daughter as a contrast against the snow. / Treasure Lake, Pennsylvania / canon 40d

These horses are headed but to the barn. They seemed confused by what was happening with the weather. / It is highly unusually for my part of North Carolina to get snow. And at times it was almost blizzard conditions. I don’t know how the horses liked it but I LOVED it!!!
