I see a red door and I want it painted black / No colors anymore I want them to turn black / I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes / I have to turn my head until my darkness goes I see a line of cars and they’re all painted black / With flowers and my love both never to come back / I see people turn their heads and quickly look away / Like a new born baby it just happens ev’ry day I look inside myself and see my heart is black / I see my red door and it has been painted black / Maybe then I’ll fade away and not have to face the facts / It’s not easy facin’ up when your whole world is black No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue / I could not foresee this thing happening to you If I look hard enough into the settin’ sun / My love will laugh with me before the mornin’ comes I see a red door and I want it painted black / No colors anymore I want them to turn black / I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes / I have to turn my head until my darkness goes Hmm, hmm, hmm,... I wanna see it painted, painted black / Black as night, black as coal / I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky / I wanna see it painted, painted, painted, painted black / Yeah! ~Lyrics The Rolling Stones

How long can you weep in silence? / Soon, the pain will be unbearable. / If you’re not careful, you’d lose your mind.. / And maybe even, your life.. A winter panorama shot of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway, taken during the christmas holiday. Stitched together of 15 pictures. Post-processing: / Stitched some pictures together, obviously. Fixed the contrast with curves, added a lighter curve only on the lower part as the valley was pretty dark, and the mountain tops really light. Added two black and white layers set to hard light (140%), mainly on the sky and the mountain tops.

Sorry about the pun, ‘revamped!’ I’ve put a filter on my watercolour painting, to increase the moonlight atmosphere

I was having my coffee this morning on the balcony while watching the rain and it gave me an idea so here it is! This was taken of the rain coming down on the balcony balustrade with the clouds in the background. I know that there are lots of amazing captures of splashes here on RB but this image really wasn’t about the splash, to me, it was more about the capture of morning rain. Best viewed large :o) Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens, 5.6f / exposure 1/320 / processed in RAW

Self Portrait / I wasn’t sure what to do with this one. / I tried rotating it all different directions and just decided to go with this one. But I’m not sure if I really like it or not. Blurring is intentional. © Jessica Walker 2009
Here is a re-worked image of my little girl and my husband which was on RB a while ago.. I keep coming back to it so finally decided to play with it and here it is… I originally had this image in colour but got some great advice from a fellow bubbler to try it in b&w so I did…... This image was taken when my little girl fell over on the rocks and hurt her knees and her daddy gave her a piggy back to the car before the storm came.
It’s your own puzzle ;-)
