It’s Paris, It’s the Louvre, It’s the Glass Pyramid from the Da Vinci Code. It’s also a 10-20mm lens and above all… a pleasure and privilege to have been there again!

I know the title doesn’t make much sense, but the photograph was taken by my friend Irina who is a computer programmer; she believes the reason she likes this photo so much has something to do with her being a programmer. I guess, it’s the binary arrangement of trees: 0101010101010101… :) That must be the reason.

Original / Hand Painted / Oil-on-canvas / 24 X 20 inches ( I CONDEMN THE WAY THE NAZIS MISUSED THIS 1000’S OF YEARS OLD HOLY SYMBOL ) • The Nava Graha Theory • Hindus and many other religions worldwide, since ancient times, believe that the Nava Grahas (The Nine Celestial Houses) influence man to a great extent. The nine houses being, The Sun in the centre, (Then clockwise from top) Venus, Moon, Mars, Ketu, Saturn, Rahu, Jupiter and The Mercury. Each one of the nine houses have their own distinct Color palettes, Gems, Metals, Foods (Grains), Moods, Abilities, Attributes, Positive and/or Negative influence on the Earth and subsequently the life on earth which includes us! • Hindus, Budhists and many religions, since ancient times have also recognised the power of the Holy symbol of Swastika and have worshipped it as a symbol of an auspicious beginning as well as in many other forms…. My interpretation of as to how the symbol of Swastika came into being is, by joining each house , with straight lines ( as shown in this painting). ( After speaking with many learned people and scouring the internet etc., I’m yet to find a reference to this theory anywhere, so I guess, it’s my own interpretation as an artist.) Or is it my discovery through my art, that the swastika, which is a 1000’s of years of old symbol, was originally formed from the Navgrahas? This question remains…unsolved, yet… Although…I CONDEMN THE WAY THE NAZIS MISUSED THIS 1000’S OF YEARS OLD HOLY SYMBOL…

This piece is a bit of inspired work after seeing Deborah Parkins Street Spirit that she uploaded yesterday.. an impulsive addition after watching Radioheads music video of Street Spirit. I You tubed the video myself and also loved the black and white photography and there was a scene where the singers face fades out of shot that really got me thinking… I started thinking what it is that makes up Digital Black and White photography and I guess this is the result.. you may recognise the face and think you have seen this before, but just look a little closer… Best viewed large

This motive has been on the bubble as a T-shirt for a while, and I’ve had a few requests for posters so here we are. / I don’t know why I didn’t do this from the beginning, but anyway better late than never (lost the Christmas sales though :-) By the way, I am testing out a new display system I’m working on. / You see I’m in the proses of setting up another blog where I can focus only on the sales of my art and different stuff with my art on it, and I want to show how the pictures look on the wall. So I have drawn a few rooms to hang my pictures in. / Hope you like it…. POS /

I think…as photographers we can all relate to this scene. We’ll all LIVE until we get that final shot that we REALLY like…and ‘even then’...we won’t rest until we have that BEST shot, right? LOL I saw this ensemble in an antique store window in Brentwood, CA. I did some cropping, lighting and other bits of photo editing to get it this way. This is one of five different versions. :) PLEASE ‘view larger’.

In cryptography, Fialka (M-125) is the name of a Cold War-era Soviet cipher machine. A rotor machine, the device uses 10 rotors, each with 30 contacts along with mechanical pins. “Fialka” means “violet” in Russian. Information regarding the machine was quite scarce until circa 2005 because the device had been kept secret. Fialka contains a five-level paper tape reader on the right hand side at the front of the machine, and a paper tape punch and tape printing mechanism on top. The punched-card input for keying the machine is located on the left hand side. This example is currently on display at Bletchley Park near Milton Keynes, home of the Enigma code breakers of World War II. From the same collection as Kezboard
