Allah (Arabic: الله, Allāh) is the standard Arabic word for God. While the term is best known in the West for its use by Muslims as a reference to God, it is used by Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, in reference to “God”. The concepts associated with the term Allah (as a deity) differ among the traditions. In pre-Islamic Arabia amongst pagan Arabs, Allah was not the sole divinity, having associates and companions, sons and daughters, a concept strongly opposed by Islam. In Islam, the name Allah is the supreme and all-comprehensive divine name. All other divine names are believed to refer back to Allah. Allah is unique, the only Deity, creator of the universe and omnipotent. Arab Christians today use terms such as Allāh al-ʼAb ( الله الأب, “God the Father”) to distinguish their usage from Muslim usage. There are both similarities and differences between the concept of God as portrayed in the Qur’an and the Hebrew Bible. Unicode has a codepoint reserved for Allāh, ﷲ = U+FDF2.
A restaurant on top of a cliff in the island of Zakynthos (Greek) had all these bottles up, which I found more interesting than the equally spectacular view opposite.
I almost walked past this without realizing it was a manipulated Coke logo. Shot it in Riga, Latvia.

A certain soft drink manufacturer once advertised that “You can’t beat the real thing” and that “(enter soft drink name here) is it” We at Knee Draggers believe that what we like to do best, cornering, is the real thing & anyone who can get their knee down whilst going around a corner is “IT”! We don’t subscribe to the notion that drinking one beverage instead of another will increase your social standing among your peers nor will it assist you in attracting members of the opposite sex. / However, wearing a t-shirt that tells the world who you are and what you love to do is sure to get everyone talking. Coke? Nah, we don’t do that shit, we get our buzz from riding motorcycles the way they are built to be ridden. So, Enjoy Knee Draggers. Everyone else is!
Took this at a family reunion in Kansas. I loved that people wanted logos on their buildings to make them stand out.
Although there is some drug-referenced humour in this t-shirt, the thought actually came over me after I had removed myself from the city and immersed myself in nature. Without calendar, and having stayed up a night on occasion to get lost in the stars, I lost my sense of how many days I had been out of town. This thought, in which I felt I had also suddenly awoke from a dayze of busy-ness to realise what is important in life, struck me as also containing a strong dosage of spiritual wisdom. / The image is of a pre-sunrise on the new moon just one-half lunar cycle before the 2006 Total Solar Eclipse

*MY SOUL DRINK * “The only way that I could figure they could improve upon Coca-Cola, one of life’s most delightful elixirs, which studies prove will heal the sick and occasionally raise the dead, is to put rum or bourbon in it.” / ~Lewis Grizzard X-eltheeb-X Photography ©
