This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’

Over a hundred years ago, Blyth had a lot of windmills. I did this stylised one from a black and white photo of a 19th century pencil drawing. I like working like that – it gives my imagination plenty to play with.

Click Here I love the atmosphere in Sorrento, Italy. The streets are like mazes, narrow, cobbled and thoroughly enchanting. This is the Organ in Ripon Cathedral, this also shows how un symetrical this place is, the east and west wings that come off here are both different and the cross hanging above is way out of line.

This low light shot was the original one I took in colour but because of the orangey colour cast I decided to change it to B&W and Sepia. I wanted to use a street light to my right and out of the frame as the main source of light and a little bit of flash. Which one of the three do you prefer?
