Carved By Nature’s Wrath / The 12 Apostles, Victoria Following a day of torrential rain and gale force winds, the sun shone momentarily, lighting up the moody sky, before plunging the rugged coastline into complete darkness. As night falls, a solitary waterfall is all that remains of the passing storms, returning the much needed rain to the swollen seas of the shipwreck coast. I took this shot in Bateau Bay, which is part of Central Coast New South Wales Australia. Roughly 2 hours above Sydney. I love the glow of sunsets in wet sand and this, broken by the rocks, formed a scene I just had to capture!

This yellow dory was tied to the wharf for the winter. The boat launch had quite a steep angle to it… you can see the ocean far below, so the dory was secured with these blue ropes.I loved the contrast between the yellow boat and the blue ropes holding it securely. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

Beautiful dawn light at Wembury on the South Devon coast. The multi-coloured lichen covered slices of bedrock jutting out of the sea at an acute angle in the forground give clues to the geological composition of this Special Area of Conservation. Pearse’s Beach, is on the ocean side of the popular Mornington Peninsula,along the. Bass Strait coastline Blairgowrie-Bridgewater Walk (2 km return), which starts from the St John’s Wood Rd car park. It overlooks a rugged bay and returns via a coastal track. The Blairgowrie-Rye Recreational Track is well-made and well-maintained.
