I love the way lightning is so completely random, the way it dances across the sky… I could easily watch and shoot storms for hours on end.

The U.S.C.G. training vessel the Eagle coming into Rockland Harbor, Rockland, Maine. 7/24/09. It was one rough ride on the sailboat we were on!!
Hwy 101 along the Oregon coast spans a great white water river, plus the salmon fishing on it is one of the best on the Pacific coast. Taken about 10 pm after the sun went down,the bridges along the coast route are all historical land marks.

Down along the coast at Tarpon Springs, Florida this dilapidated dock was once the place were Bonita fish were brought in from the catch. The sign reads “Here Tis” The slang of the area and Bonita Fish along with a number to call. The weathered grays with the gray of the water make this a calming scene for me. The boat looks like it is still used. I heard this whole area was demolished for tourism development. The reference photo of this dock was taken in the 80s when it still stood. Oil on Canvas
