  • Gibson’s Beach, Port Campbell National Park, Victoria, Australia.

  • Australia Rock is located in the seaside town of Narooma in New South Wales, Australia.

  • After shooting the early light of the morning down at Cape Schanck I thought I’d take a quick shot of the sun light reflecting off the large boulders in this little cove. I love the warm colours and shapes of wet boulders in the sun. If you ever go down to this place when the tied is high and the weather a little on the wild side, the massive waves that come crashing in to this little space throw these boulders around making an awesome rumbling sound. A must see if you live close enough to the Mornington Peninsula.

  • One of my first photos on the Shen Hao camera, taken round at Crail harbour in Fife. / I placed myself right on the water’s edge, looking down as the tide came in and superimposed 3 exposures on the one frame to give the effect of water lapping around the rocks like mist. I think the red rock is carboniferous sandstone.

  • Sunrise over Signal Hill, Newfoundland. The first spot in Canada to see the beautiful morning dawn. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

  • Land’s End, Norway. The white “dot” in the tidal pool is actually the moon reflection. Much more visible on a large sized print.

  • Taken at Norah Head, two hours north of Sydney on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Beautiful little place =) the lighthouse there is too cute.

  • Rock formations at low tide. Taken with my 5D and the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens. This is a 82mm lens and I am currently using Cokin Filters (handheld).....uuuuurrgh. I am very keen to get a Lee Neutral Density Filter set. If you have this setup I would be very interested to hear from you what experiences you have made in regards to vignetting and what Lee components you have mounted on your lens. Thanks heaps

  • Happy New Year everyone! This shot was taken at the Sunshine Coast just before Christmas 2007….well it’s an old shot isn’t it. Taken with my Canon 5D and the EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM Lens. No Filter has been used but I did some fake HDR processing (single shot) using Dynamic Photo HDR. It’s a fun program and a great alternative to Photomatix.

  • Full moon to the left…airport to the right, a nugget in the sea and a sprinkled sky 13 Sec Exposure / Focal Length 16.0 mm / F6.3

  • St. Mary’s Lighthouse, Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear, UK

  • Some early morning stones in the lake Vänern in Sweden around 5 am. / Watercolor and pencil.

  • An islet just outside Fjällbacka village on the swedish westcoast. Watercolor and pencil.

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16 / For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: / Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. / / / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / / Canon 400d / /

  • This was taken on my first trip to Skye. I had camped out overnight, in order to make the most of the morning light. I had been down to the beach the previous evening in order to find locations, but as I was walking along the shore I saw the roundish rock glinting in the sun. I couldn’t resist stopping to make an image. I took a few shots and moved on – and am happy that I got the photo I wanted. Canon Eos 5D http://lewisgolbourn.redbubble.com/

  • A view across Loch Scavaig to the Cuillin Mountains in Skye. Canon Eos5D with a 1.2 ND and a grad, probably a 0.9. ISO 50 over a fairly long time to smooth the water over. http://lewisgolbourn.redbubble.com/

  • twilight from the shore of the small fishing village of Elgol, Isle of Skye….looking across to the Black Cuillins. November 2008

  • Another picture from Skye taken a week or so ago. The tide coming in rapidly on Elgol beach with the Black Cuillin mountains in the distance. Long exposure of 30 secs @f16

  • Proceeds from sales of this image go to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal – donations in turned matched by Redbubble A brief stop on the way to Minnamurra Falls in the Budderoo National Park (about 15 mks inland from Kiama on the South Coast of NSW – Australia) yielded this very unusual scene – with cool rain and mist following on from the 40 degree days previously, it was almost like being suddenly transported to England! • Got up for dawn at Port Campbell only for it to be drizzly and overcast, but by the time I got down to the beach and the sun started to rise some awesome colour came through and it made the early start well and truly worth it! / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. • This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother.
