Putsborough is a beach on the coast of North Devon, England, between Croyde and Woolacombe. Putsborough beach is situated on the southern end of Woolacombe Sands. The surf works at all tide stages but mid to high tend to have an edge. It is the only beach in the area that benefits from some protection from the South/Southwesterly winds, thanks to Baggy Point headland. Peaks are scattered all along its length. It has a fairly slow waves which are suitable for beginners. The sandy beach has some rocky outcrops which provide paddling pools.

Walking amongst the sea-anemone & seaweed covered rocks of the tide pools during this very low tide was such an amazing experience. I had to wait around for a little while to get this shoy with the natural arch in the distance.while a dad with young girls explored the area. I ended up getting to play naturalist and tell them about what they were seeing, and also encouraged them to put some starfish back in the water. After they left I was able to take this shot. Some call it Queenscliff, but that’s dull. Just another day in Sydney’s phenomenal winter. HDR from 5 exposures. Handheld and built manually in Photoshop. Not much post-prod after conversion (thanks to great light), except for a minor levels adjustment. Shooper.
