  • Every Easter holidays my family go camping at the BIG4 caravan park in Pambula. This is handy as I’ve found it’s quite a photogenic location. I took this shot when it was overcast and a rather boring scene but, I wanted to see what I could do with it. Shot: Canon 400D + Canon 10-22 f/3.5 – f/4.5 @ 1/2, 1/8 (-2), 2 (+2), f/8, ISO100. Post-Processing: I blended and tonemapped the image in Photomatix and then took it into Adobe Photoshop CS3 and did quite a lot of dodging and burning and curves and levels layer masks.

  • Royal National Park is just 32 km south of Sydney, Australia. It is the secondest oldest national park in the world, being declared soon after Yellowstone in 1879. These images were taken over a 2 year period and represent my attempts to capture some of the incredible beauty of this magnificent park. All the images are real – no elements have been edited in.

  • After visiting the beautiful Cambewarra Lookout in the Morton National Park south of Sydney, you can meander down the mountain towards Nowra and this is the type of panoramic scenery you will find … Smoke haze is evident here from the bushfires further into the Morton National Park at the time. • Proceeds from sales of this image go to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal – donations in turned matched by Redbubble A brief stop on the way to Minnamurra Falls in the Budderoo National Park (about 15 mks inland from Kiama on the South Coast of NSW – Australia) yielded this very unusual scene – with cool rain and mist following on from the 40 degree days previously, it was almost like being suddenly transported to England! • This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother. • Elephants Rocks, Denmark, Western Australia. For Beth, my twin-sis. Another image from one of my favourite places. The day of our visit, it amazed me how many people stood on the top of these rocks and then turned back to the carpark, missing the view of the rocks from this point and all the wonderful coastline around the corner. Still, that means we had it to ourselves!! For enquires about canvas prints, or photographic prints larger than Redbubble options, please contact me via bubblemail
