Another excursion from my more normal landscapes, but shows my love of modern architecture. This is a bridge crossing the Yarra in Melbourne. I love the modern architecture in Melbourne. This image reminds meof another William Gibson quote: “A graphic representation of data abstracted from the banks of every computer in the human system. Unthinkable Complexity.” – William Gibson
......Seriously looking forward to hot summer days like this….

Here is a photo I took this evening when I went to watch the sunset with hubby and the kids, it was such a beautiful sunset tonight so I though I would share, I have a few others but I might upload them in the next few days. Sold: Cards and medium mounted print of Last Light :o) Thank you !!!
I really loved the rock face and it’s intense colour and texture so I had to share! This was taken near the Mornington Pier during a sunset.
Wilsons Promontory – ‘The Prom’, 2008 Have managed this summer to get out there and surf a bit. Lately just me, my board and my camera down the coast, tenting it and basically taking time out for myself. After a few hours in the water you get this kind of fuzzy peaceful feeling inside, equal parts exhaustion and elation. I love that headspace of daydreaming, and find it a really inspirational state for visual ideas to come to the surface.

Water was calm unlike the clouds
this was a shot where i was trying to get the impact of the clouds from behind the ferris wheel that it would make the impact of the ferris wheel better with the strong contrast of the picture, enjoy

This is what I love to do most evenings in summer,,, I just paddle out, float around and watch the sunset. I find sunsets very beautiful so I thought I would share my point of view! / Ohh, and yes,, I took the camera out on the board with me! Not too deep but did nearly get done by a wave.. pretty stupid, I know but I just really wanted to share this! .. The perils of photography! Taken 29 January 2009 Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / processed in RAW
Here’s my oldest boy paddling out just like me to watch the sunset after a very hot summer’s day. And yes, here I’m also in the water after him with the camera! / It’s similar to ‘My sunset’ but I wanted to share this one also :o) Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / processed in RAW with only the contrast and colour slightly upped, the rest is all real! No photoshop as I have already been asked.
Here’s a photo I took from my balcony in June 2009. We are lucky enough to watch spectacular sunsets daily and this was just one of many I’ve managed to capture so I decided to share.. I know there’s plenty of beautiful sunset shots but I love this as it’s from my house :o) / Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / Processed in RAW

Here is a re-worked image of my little girl and my husband which was on RB a while ago.. I keep coming back to it so finally decided to play with it and here it is… I originally had this image in colour but got some great advice from a fellow bubbler to try it in b&w so I did…... This image was taken when my little girl fell over on the rocks and hurt her knees and her daddy gave her a piggy back to the car before the storm came.
