After shooting the early light of the morning down at Cape Schanck I thought I’d take a quick shot of the sun light reflecting off the large boulders in this little cove. I love the warm colours and shapes of wet boulders in the sun. If you ever go down to this place when the tied is high and the weather a little on the wild side, the massive waves that come crashing in to this little space throw these boulders around making an awesome rumbling sound. A must see if you live close enough to the Mornington Peninsula.

Yes, they are my feet and I’m relaxing on the beach watching the kids play in the water. I gave this image some texture and it reminds me of a very lazy, Aussie summer’s day at the beach.

I know that in an artistic sense this is quite simple, however to me it has great meaning. The image is of my two boys who are also the best of friends. They have an unbreakable bond and here, they are doing something they love; just being together.

Here’s my oldest boy paddling out just like me to watch the sunset after a very hot summer’s day. And yes, here I’m also in the water after him with the camera! / It’s similar to ‘My sunset’ but I wanted to share this one also :o) Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / processed in RAW with only the contrast and colour slightly upped, the rest is all real! No photoshop as I have already been asked.

Got up for dawn at Port Campbell only for it to be drizzly and overcast, but by the time I got down to the beach and the sun started to rise some awesome colour came through and it made the early start well and truly worth it! / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. A wave crashes the London Arch, on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia, at sunrise. This was taken at the end of autumn on a very cloudy morning. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera, 18-55mm lens and a tripod. I sold a large framed print (walnut and on red bubble) to my kind sister, Nadia, that she bought as a house warming and birthday present for a lucky friend. Thanks so much Nadia.
