After shooting the early light of the morning down at Cape Schanck I thought I’d take a quick shot of the sun light reflecting off the large boulders in this little cove. I love the warm colours and shapes of wet boulders in the sun. If you ever go down to this place when the tied is high and the weather a little on the wild side, the massive waves that come crashing in to this little space throw these boulders around making an awesome rumbling sound. A must see if you live close enough to the Mornington Peninsula.
Here are my boys and hubby checking out the clouds before a storm.
Yes… I did get too close and got wet!.. Ohh the perils of photography! / I Have to date sold 3 x mounted prints of this image.

Looked out of the window yesterday evening – thought the sky showed some promise – so tootled off to Black Rock, near Barwon Heads. Wasn’t disappointed.
A passing storm at Black Rock, near Barwon Heads. The remnants of a rainbow just visible beneath the storm cloud. /
Taken at Black Rock near Barwon Heads. The storm had just passed out to sea and let the late evening light illuminate the water.
Continuation of my previous sunrise image, taken 14 minutes later as the ocean waits for the sun at Point Lonsdale beach looking over Port Phillip Bay to the Mornington Peninsula. This was one of the most beautiful sunrises that I have seen. Here’s my oldest boy paddling out just like me to watch the sunset after a very hot summer’s day. And yes, here I’m also in the water after him with the camera! / It’s similar to ‘My sunset’ but I wanted to share this one also :o) Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / processed in RAW with only the contrast and colour slightly upped, the rest is all real! No photoshop as I have already been asked.

Got up for dawn at Port Campbell only for it to be drizzly and overcast, but by the time I got down to the beach and the sun started to rise some awesome colour came through and it made the early start well and truly worth it! / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother. Here’s a photo I took from my balcony in June 2009. We are lucky enough to watch spectacular sunsets daily and this was just one of many I’ve managed to capture so I decided to share.. I know there’s plenty of beautiful sunset shots but I love this as it’s from my house :o) / Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / Processed in RAW
A wave crashes the London Arch, on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia, at sunrise. This was taken at the end of autumn on a very cloudy morning. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera, 18-55mm lens and a tripod. I sold a large framed print (walnut and on red bubble) to my kind sister, Nadia, that she bought as a house warming and birthday present for a lucky friend. Thanks so much Nadia.
