The bright moon and misty water effect created by the long exposure combined with the rocky foreground make this scene look slightly alien

This IS an actual shot of the moon high in the dark night! I know that I had been experimenting with my camera settings in order to capture this just right and not yield undesirable results. I found it unusually intriguing that the moon yielded such a ‘star-shaped’ light, using no special lenses or filters! However, it took alot of trial and error in order to do it! And I STILL don’t remember what I did. I DO know that I got some very, very interesting ‘DEAD OF NIGHT’ pictures! This is one of them.
