  • Punching softly through the puffy clouds, the Whisper Craft roared into life at full power. They knew this last leg would be tricky and had hoped to maintain their surprise as long as possible, in order to catch to inhabitants at Face Mountain city, unaware. Now in the open, they had to risk all in a high speed swoop, before the defenders could respond. They had reckoned without Stumpy though. Stumpy, a survivor of a previous sneak attack, had sworn that they would not catch his city sleeping a second time. He had roamed the skies daily, since war had started. Now, it seemed, his endless hours in high altitude patrols, had been rewarded. His stump itched, but it didn’t worry him this time. He smiled as he flicked the switch on his photon disruptor and prepared to dive…

  • Stumpy was not alone in his defence of Face Mountain city. The AWCSS (Anti- Whisper craft Cloud Swallowing System), only recently tested, performed flawlessly. Fired from the ground, this mostly organic system, could reach great heights with amazing rapidity. Once a Whisper Craft was in range, it was consumed in seconds. The inhabitants of the airship, would not be harmed, but they would have to start new lives in different worlds, due to molecular realignment. The prototype had been tested in a parallel system and by all accounts, the Bermuda Triangle experiment had gone well…

  • The evening sky from a slightly different point of view than usual.

  • worked on this for a couple of days. / stock images from sxc

  • Another ‘Stream of Consciousness’ composition… I won’t say any more! Also available as a super high resolution Giclee print from my own website. (Illustrated here as a large print with a brilliant white matte and a black box frame)

  • Coming soon through the sky near you…the personal transport of the future! This image was created using Corel 11 and a free stock image for the background.

  • A collaboration with Thysane The fancy stuff was done by Thysane / and I provided the background.

  • Ok, so I got a little off course on my “realism” art. But I couldn’t resist keeping/posting this one. It took a little while to conceive it and put it together, but that’s what happens when you make artwork while stoned.

  • Some stolen photos, some hand drawn elements and some computer drawn elements mixed and remixed.

  • stocks from sxc.hu

  • What would an at-at dream about? A dog dreams about a bone, maybe an at-at dreams about a nut and bolt?

  • We were just sitting there having a quite one or two when the sky seem to split in two!! It was frightening!! Then . . . Then this thing just came out of the sky. It was terrible . . . / From an eye witness account . . . Ah . . . no I just made it up. / Put together in Photoshop, combining three original photos – a sunset which was mirrored, the church spire, the platform and layered (Lighten and Darken modes) with some Photoshop-generated elements (the light beams and stars) and in Bryce6 – the moon. / And the little story WAS just made up. Nobody was hurt during the making of this picture. Although my eyes got a little sore. / Criticism welcome.

  • This image shows how my brain works. Several days ago I uploaded an image called “Crown Fire”. That same tree appears here in the lower left of the image. In the description of “Crown Fire” I said: “Man ‘o man, you should have been there! Hoo-haa!!! The Sky, the Sun, the Cool Sea of Air. That bold life’s creation standing in front of me and above me, swaying ever so slightly in the waning rays of that late autumn day. That tree told me to look out across the hills through a blue so deep that Earth’s own curvature and the infinite depth of empty space lapped easily at the doorstep of our thin atmospheric blanket, while the quietly raging Sun Blazed as though to fill the void with its tenuous light.” My own description was in fact the very process of creation, because that vision came to me AS the words were flowing onto the page. That is the closest you will ever come to seeing the creative process. This image is simply the result of creating something that matched that vision in some small way. • A patrol passes over the southern end of Lake Midtweskay, on the planet Five W, with its strange unnatural, submarine formation. With the skirting snow-capped mountain range, the lake is punctured with the grass covered sedimentary hillocks and pinnacles it is a strange, and thankfully almost pristine, environment indeed. The planet is yet to be properly surveyed and documented. Two landscapes created in Artmatic Voyager and then merged. The craft and planet created in Bryce/DAZ and the sky from a very Earth-originated photograph. / Compiled in Photoshop.

  • Freighters of the Celestial Springs Water Company taking shipments of water from the strange, icebound planet, Eiswelt, destined for the drought-ridden areas of the Southern Hemisphere of the homeworld, Earth. Carrying millions of litres of the vital stuff at a time, these space giants are the saviours of those thirsty souls back on Earth. / Proudly brought to you by the Celestial Springs Water Company. Created in Artmatic Voyager, Bryce 6/DAZ and Photoshop.

  • I’ve suited up, pressurised and left the hatch. The station is now quite a distance away and as I float I begin to wonder. I left the ship for something but I just can’t remember why . . . / Created in Photoshop CS2 and Bryce6/DAZ. Astronaut courtesy of NASA.
