Image of two friends perched high on a mountain.
Sorry I haven’t been around lately.. Had the dratted flu! Thought I’d mix up the lunar world! :)

Wilsons Promontory – ‘The Prom’, 2008 Have managed this summer to get out there and surf a bit. Lately just me, my board and my camera down the coast, tenting it and basically taking time out for myself. After a few hours in the water you get this kind of fuzzy peaceful feeling inside, equal parts exhaustion and elation. I love that headspace of daydreaming, and find it a really inspirational state for visual ideas to come to the surface.
Photo of the old Telegraph Station House at Cape Otway in Victoria.
I remember just standing there.. mouth agape… hearing nothing…
View of Lago di Garda (Lake Garda) from the castle of Malcesine. A silhouette of the castle walls -as well as that of cypresses, so typical for Mediterranean!- is visible in the foreground. Taken in August 2001. Canon EOS 500N, 28-80mm. Post-processing: retouch, sharpening, color. Click here to see more photos from Lago di Garda:
BEST VIEWED AS A MEDIUM SIZED FRAMED PRINT ON YOUR SITTING ROOM WALL! Drifting all alone on a vast ocean with just myself for company! This is a shot of a cargo vessel heading out from the mouth of the River Shannon across Ballybunion Bay in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. The shot was taken with a telephoto lens from Knockanore Mountain (really a large hill) some two miles from shore as the préachán flies. / /
Mountains, just blue mountains! Reaching to the horizon… This is a landscape of my dreams! View from Jungfraujoch, Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn World Natural Heritage . July 2008. Canon EOS 300X, Sigma 28-135. Post-processing: retouch (the negative was unfortunately heavily scratched), tonality adjustment, warming filter, distortion correction, watercolor, sharpening.
All the fun of the fair! Memories of childhood, having fun, being excited, eating wonderfully strange foods, feeling desperately ill and wanting more! The yearly fair at Barham Park, Sudbury Town, Wembley. / /

Somewhere near Juliaca, South of Peru ! While traveling by bus from Puno to Arequipa I found myself in front of this scenery and managed to get one decent shot despite the wobbling bus ! / This is even more amazing considering the altitude is around 3000 mt !
El Chalten, Patagonia ( Argentina ) Leaving El Chalten I was amazed looking at this wonderful scene ! / Again I took this from the bus and I only manage to get only this decent shot ! The bus driver wasn’t very keen to stop this time.. Click to view
Sutton Bank is a high vantage point at the very edge of the Hambleton Hills and the North York Moors with extensive views over the Vale of York and the Vale of Mowbray. Because of its location and high elevation, Sutton Bank is popular with gliding and flying enthusiasts. Predominant landmarks include Whitestone Cliff and Roulston Scar, the former overlooking the mysterious (and reputedly bottomless !) Lake Gormire. Close nearby are the villages of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliff, and Kilburn (famous for the White Horse of Kilburn, and Robert Thompson – the “Mouseman” of Kilburn). / Sutton Bank is one of the most spectacular inland cliffs anywhere in Britain, and carries one of the most hair-raising main roads in the country. The near vertical drop from top to bottom is around 140 metres, and crosses at least two major geological boundaries. / The Sutton Bank National Park Centre is on the western edge of the fabulous North York Moors National Park – home to the largest expanse of heather moorland in England. It provides the perfect introduction to the National Park, its people, history and wildlife. Nikon D60 / HDR in Photomatix & pp in PS CS3 / Lens: Nikkor 18-200mm / 1/160 f/9.0 ISO200
