With this image I experimented with two photos by cutting out two roses from the two different photos and I merged them together. With my special effect brushes, basic brushes and cloud brushes, I gently blended them into a soft and sweet theme. I altered the colors (filter forge) and sharpened the image (filter gallery). I added a tree on the left (photoshop brush) and added some birds (photoshop brushes) flying in their sky. I love the way this one came out too. Now I want to take all kinds of pictures of flowers and make images like these. It makes a beautiful romantic card or you could use it in any way you wish!

Another shot of the fast changing sky taken in the rolling hills and valleys of North Yorkshire. Though each was taken sometimes a few minutes a part or a few miles apart, the speed of the changing clouds from cotton wool to the grey mass was a natural wonder to see. Converted into a pinhole black and white Best viewed large have fun cloud spotting ;) Featured by the kind hosts of the Tone it Down Group!

The last glimmer of setting sunlight was lighting up the autumn trees on the far side of Rose Valley Lake. The very active sky was reflecting off of the water’s surface, creating an abstract image of nature’s atmospheric beauty. Rose Valley Lake is located in Gamble Township, five miles east of Trout Run, in north central Pennsylvania. This reservoir is very well managed by the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission. My family has found this to be a perfect place to watch seasonal meteor showers, because the is no “light polution” from bright city lights here. This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D using a Canon EF 35-350mm f/3.5-5.6L zoom lens set to 55mm. The shutter speed was 1/250th sec. at f/4. The camera’s ISO was set to 100.
