More from the Lightscapes Set Gorgeous morning at a car boot. I got distracted by this and walked off a bit to take this at 5.30am on a cold winters morning.

A cold mist rises from the surface of Clear Lake on a cold fall morning a twilight begins to glow across the clouds and still waters of the lake.
Sunrise over Signal Hill, Newfoundland. The first spot in Canada to see the beautiful morning dawn. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /
A funny thing happened on the way to Mt. Rainier well before sunrise. I noticed the morning mist rising over Clear Lake and the cirrus clouds fanning out above them and decided that a glorious sunrise on the lake was worth more than a maybe on the mountain. I fumbled my way in the dark via flashlight to the lakes edge and had time to search for composition before the heavens lit up. Not a bad way to start a day at all.
A pastel sunset over Mt. Rainier with a lenticular cap on top and the fog rising out of the valley below. All reflected in a small alpine lake near the crest of the Cascade Mountains

Painted around the same time as “Ukulele Lady” she was gifted to friends when after a major show on the other side of the island she arrived completely warped and couldn’t be hung. She is painted on a masonite panel box. She symbolizes being the sea/see…..rising from the dark…..movement and being still. Notice the Humahumanukanukapuaa. (sounds like huma huma nuka nuka ap poo a a)..Hawaii’s state fish. Sometimes it’s hard for me to put my images into words since the point is that they are images asking to be seen and everyone has their own to see…...

I’ve been working on new bears featuring laser bears, mainly because I think a bear that shoots laser beams out of its eyes is pretty cool! / I designed this all myself and felt this should look really good as a tee. / Detail: /
Straight out of the camera….no work needed. This was the sight that greeted me as the sun rose this morning over Mount Muirhead near Millicent. Bold powerful reds and oranges that had people pulling over in their cars to watch!!!! Canon 400D Fixed 50 1.8. No filters no changes….
Thanks Paul for allowing me the pleasure of working my magic on this wonderful SP he took.
