Took this a couple of weeks ago of my little girl at the beach and realised it’s potential this morning when I started to play with the colour, light and layers so of course I though that I would share!

This artwork was featured in Outsiders I didn’t plan on ever uploading this, but I’ve really come to like it. I’ve had it as my desktop background for a few days, and, despite its simplicity, I really enjoy it. This is a photo of a painting (original too big to scan) with slight colour changes made in Photoshop. The light effect was caused by the camera flash, and I thnk it works even better than the way it was painted. Used as background for Wish Upon The Rain

Imagine the sunrises, sunsets, storms, and sunny days this water tower has seen in all its years. This day was not a particuarly memorable day in its history, but it will be remembered it as it appeared through the lens of an antique camera and now captured forever in this digital medium. The Clack produces only 8 negatives on a roll of 120 film. This forces the photographer to slow down and carefully compose each shot. This slowing down of time is exactly what is being portrayed in this photograph. The colors and clouds bleed into the background, highlighting how little has changed in this scene over time. Created using a 1950’s AGFA Clack camera with 4 year expired Fuji Velvia RVP120 (ISO 50) slide film cross processed with C-41. No digital manipulation necessary! Experimenting with watercolours today I created this loose one out of my imagination picturing a peaceful place full of colour and wonder. 10×12” watercolour on Arches paper. Twilight ‘Tis the light between day and night / the glow of the sky is such a sight. / The time in between hanging in the air / the rays of light proud in their glare.
