  • Another excursion from my more normal landscapes, but shows my love of modern architecture. This is a bridge crossing the Yarra in Melbourne. I love the modern architecture in Melbourne. This image reminds meof another William Gibson quote: “A graphic representation of data abstracted from the banks of every computer in the human system. Unthinkable Complexity.” – William Gibson

  • Here is a photo I took this evening when I went to watch the sunset with hubby and the kids, it was such a beautiful sunset tonight so I though I would share, I have a few others but I might upload them in the next few days. Sold: Cards and medium mounted print of Last Light :o) Thank you !!!

  • I really loved the rock face and it’s intense colour and texture so I had to share! This was taken near the Mornington Pier during a sunset.

  • Wilsons Promontory – ‘The Prom’, 2008 Have managed this summer to get out there and surf a bit. Lately just me, my board and my camera down the coast, tenting it and basically taking time out for myself. After a few hours in the water you get this kind of fuzzy peaceful feeling inside, equal parts exhaustion and elation. I love that headspace of daydreaming, and find it a really inspirational state for visual ideas to come to the surface.

  • This is what I love to do most evenings in summer,,, I just paddle out, float around and watch the sunset. I find sunsets very beautiful so I thought I would share my point of view! / Ohh, and yes,, I took the camera out on the board with me! Not too deep but did nearly get done by a wave.. pretty stupid, I know but I just really wanted to share this! .. The perils of photography! Taken 29 January 2009 Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / processed in RAW

  • Here’s my oldest boy paddling out just like me to watch the sunset after a very hot summer’s day. And yes, here I’m also in the water after him with the camera! / It’s similar to ‘My sunset’ but I wanted to share this one also :o) Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / processed in RAW with only the contrast and colour slightly upped, the rest is all real! No photoshop as I have already been asked.

  • This was actually in a set of 4 images. The others are titled “To Set the Sky on Fire” and “Raising Rays”, and were taken minutes apart from the others. / They were taken about 8 to 10 minutes apart, and were taken from Wooling Hill at New Gisborne in the Macedon Ranges on Feb 27th 2009. Another warm night with an incredible sunset. / Needless to say, the fires are still burning. / All monies raised from the sale of this image will go to the RB Phoenix Bushfire Appeal. / ( hdr x3 using PhotoImpact 12 & Dynamic-Photo HDR ) ============================ ====================

  • Here’s a photo I took from my balcony in June 2009. We are lucky enough to watch spectacular sunsets daily and this was just one of many I’ve managed to capture so I decided to share.. I know there’s plenty of beautiful sunset shots but I love this as it’s from my house :o) / Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens / Processed in RAW

  • Here is a re-worked image of my little girl and my husband which was on RB a while ago.. I keep coming back to it so finally decided to play with it and here it is… I originally had this image in colour but got some great advice from a fellow bubbler to try it in b&w so I did…... This image was taken when my little girl fell over on the rocks and hurt her knees and her daddy gave her a piggy back to the car before the storm came.
