  • A surreal scene with a plane appearing to fly behind the closed door of a house.

  • Ferntree Gully // Victoria // 16 May 2007

  • Menacing storm and menacing old tumbledown house

  • An old homestead near Maitland NSW awaits an afternoon storm.

  • Standing atop the cliffs at Mornington Peninsula’s southern most tip, the Cape Schanck lighthouse is a warning that this piece of coastline is not to be messed with. It’s not easy getting to this point of coast when there is very little light and an unpredictable tide. Lucky for me the sky provided a nice show of colour to make the effort worth it.

  • The Old State House in Boston, MA-USA, the oldest surviving public building in Boston which was built in 1713 to house the government offices of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. It stands on the site of Boston’s first Town House of 1657-8, which burned in 1711.

  • King’s Bridge, Launceston Tasmania on a work trip but just had to stop and get this shot as we walked across the bridge.

  • The main entrance to the old farm

  • Old cooking range found in the kitchen of the old farm house, not much left, there are no signs of gas or electric in ths place

  • The front and side elevation of the old Farm

  • I took this when I was walking on the beach with my girlfriend. 6 shots vertical. Stitched together with The Panorama Factory

  • The main stair case in the Marquis hotel, some one has been and stolen the beautiful Wooden spindles and bannister.

  • Another of the old fire places from the old Hotel, The Marquis Of Granby, once a fine country Hotel, now in a bad state.

  • This is the staff toilets just off the Kitchen area, not sure what the K A P T stand for, maybe the chefs all had their own urinal?

  • An ancient building in the town of Gharyan which is located in the mountains of Tripoli, Libya. / . / /

  • Yes, that very delightful illumination, the one I‘ve been searching for a long time, far and wide, the light indescribable and as elusive as ever. Like in this landscape, where the dark forest still drains its branches, just moments after the mean storm and the sun reappears cautiously in a quest to reclaim the heavens from the gloomy threat, highlighting the spots on the puffy clouds and the ground, randomly, or possibly in a pattern I can’t comprehend. The very luminosity that makes you start seeing things – around the ruin of an old house, behind the mysterious woods, between shy little clouds that float slightly above the tree tops and all the creatures that only need a good reason or a site like this to crawl out from your subconscious self, right from the deepest ends of your storytelling childhood memories. I know, I should get serious and meet my age specs, but with a scene like this before my eyes and a camera in hand, that may not be trivial, even worse, I may be too old to grow up now.

  • Anything can roll downhill, someone observed nicely, the truth which I proved on that day overwhelmed and fatigued after a visit to a great museum. Across the pampered grass, around the mature trees and just below the rugby balls I strolled through the massive park hoisted as a horizontal sail of greenery among the endless medley of man made structures. The Domain, that’s how locals like to call it. And here within this oasis I stumbled unexpectedly on a relic from an old millennium, an edifice with charm to spare, a perfect medium for times gone by fantasia. No single soul around, the welcome side effect of being on holiday and out of sync with the rest of the working population, you can take your time, sit down and admire the artistry behind its appearance, the visual substance far above the aesthetic torment of modern architecture. This sight alone is more than enough to satisfy every soul’s daily dosage in beautiful imagery, mine included. I was particularly intrigued with its glass roof and the ghostly appearance of the tall trees through it, swivelled by the eastern winds, the same ones that brought the drizzle and a salty smell of the Hauraki Gulf. How wonderful. That’s the best thing about a trip without destination. Regardless of the direction you choose you always end up in the place you intended.

  • A view from the mountains in Tenerife, Spanish Canary Island. I just have to go back to this place!! If you look down through the valley, you can see the thread of a road that we traveled to get to a small restaurant.

  • This photo was taken with my new canon lens 18-200mm on 10th of this month. / These unreal clouds went past my place so I ran down to Mills Beach and got there just at the right time!!! /
