  • Storm clouds drift past after rain, and this charming stone cottage in the Southern Flinders Ranges is bathed in sunlight ,gleaming crisply on a bed of bright green pasture land / Taken with Fuji S2 Pro,Nikor 24-85mm @85mm Limited Edition 1 of 20

  • On a frosty june morning I found myself to the top of a local range near Geranium in the Souther Mallee looking at one of the most brilliant sunrise’s I have ever seen. The warm glow of the sun across the clouds and the shifting light made me forget about the the freezing temperatures I was working in.

  • I happened to be driving past this paddock and noticed the specky clouds above and just so happened to have my camera with me.

  • I went out last night and got some good clear shots of the moon.

  • Storm on the Rise Photography & Artwork / by Holly Kempe © “The wise man in the storm prays to God, / not for safety from danger, but deliverance from / fear.” / ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson Storm on the Rise has been featured in the: Redbubble Homepage – April 08

  • I’ve been playing with this shot for way too long. I’ve done about 8 versions and can’t decide which one, if any, I like best. This is the one I’m posting…any feedback would be great – you know how it is when you overwork something – can’t see the good bits through all of the annoying bits. / / / Camera: FujiFilm FinePix S7000 / Location: Tumut in the Land of Oz / / ISO200 / f/8 / 4.0sec exposure / R72 filter / Tripod / / POSTSCRIPT / / After reading everyones comments, I’m changing my opinion of this pic now. I’ve looked at the other 7 versions and this one is definately the best, actually by a long way so I’m glad I persisted with it…I think I’m happy with it now….and besides my limited photoshopping skills have run out – I wouldn’t know what else to do with it anyway….lol

  • This is an HDR shot that I took on my girlfriend’s property the other day.. / This old shed has always taken my interest as to how it may turn out as a subject for photography so I decided to get out of my car and take some snaps.. / I hope you all like it and once again all comments are welcome.. / Thankyou very much for looking! • I took this shot from the Windsor turf farms today while following a storm which hit about 5 minutes later.. It is an HDR shot and I think HDR was the right choice as it shows details in both the sky and landscape.. / I have always wanted to try and get a storm shot while down at the turf farms because the scene just looks so typically australian to me.. / I decided to include the gate to break up the scene a bit and add something more to view than just turf and the sky.. / Anyway as usual all comments and/or thoughts are welcome.. / Thanks for having a look! • the easy silence you make for me

  • A winter panorama shot of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway, taken during the christmas holiday. Stitched together of 15 pictures. Post-processing: / Stitched some pictures together, obviously. Fixed the contrast with curves, added a lighter curve only on the lower part as the valley was pretty dark, and the mountain tops really light. Added two black and white layers set to hard light (140%), mainly on the sky and the mountain tops.

  • A second landscape from the Mowsley/Laughton area of Leicestershire, UK. This image was featured as image of the day at Fotopic.net on 16th May 2008 / Not long ago, I posted this, below, from a location nearby. I love this land at this time of year. / If you like it and want to buy the pair, click this link to get the second. They look good as a pair on a wall, especially when toplit by a small bulb

  • Farm near Wubin, Western Australia, 250km northeast of Perth. Captured with Nikon D300, exposure 1/50 sec at f / 13 / Featured in DSLR Users Only group 11/07/2009 / Featured in Minimalist Landscapes group 30/09/2009

  • Best on Full Size As we leave the top of Blue Knob mountain heading toward Claysburg my eye is always taken by this beautiful farm between Pavia and Claysburg on State Forest Highway (3003). On this particular day, May 23, 2009, the clouds were outdoing themselves. Had to pull over and get this snap. I got a kick out of all the poofy dandelions happily propagating away in the foreground and trying to compete with the poofy clouds!! Taken with the Nikon D40x with the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens at 1/320 shutter and f/5.6 aperture. Exposure was set at minus .33 and iso was 200. Post processing included hdr from a single hand-held image duplicated twice to an eval of +/- 2 then run through Photomatix. Gave the old clone tool a workout as this beautiful scene is marred by a giant telephone pole and lots and lots of wires!!!

  • I thought I would play around with this one a bit more ( I have it uploaded on here in b/w..Dead End) I decided to upload the color version and crop it a bit. / This was taken in Pigeon Michigan. Nikon D90 / 18-200 mm VR Lens
