Pencil on Stonghenge paper drawing – ORIGINAL SOLD This was the first of three drawings. I didn’t know there’d be three when I started – and actually, I may have made more than three of these types. You can see the original on this shot along with its sister The Arrival But anyway, this started when I heard a line from a song – “an angel wears no armor” and bam – I saw this in my head. The summer I drew this our basement was invaded by bees – which is what some people had thought was covering this child. Nope. Since this is a circular image, in full it doesn’t lend itself as nicely for a greeting card. I suggest you go to my detail version of it here at my RedBubble portfolio. The cropped version works better as a card. BUT, there are plenty of other ways to have a “Messenger” in your life – some examples here:

You have already learned what the “Flylands Series” is about…....(there is a description in “Gate-Traveller – Flylands No1). So this one shows us a Japanese part of the bursted Earth….a lonely Geisha watches out for other survivors, she hopes the eagle might have a message for her! She carries the light which is necessary to put all the flylands together again, in order to form the entire planet new. This light is kept in the antique Japanese lantern. But at the moment, there is no way for the Geisha to leave her little flyland!..... to be continued

Large canvas painting of a beach sunset in acrylic. Painted for a friend’s birthday. I have already painted a similar painting in watercolour. I am pleased with this version. I love sunsets and sunrises with the warm colours, as does my dear friend and here’s hoping she will like this special gift when she opens it on her birthday on Boxing Day!
