Skater Girl Card click here / Here’s Skater Girl trying out her brand new home-made deck!!! Skater Girl design is taken from an original ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal painting on canvas textured paper by Karin Taylor. The design has been digitally enhanced with a few minor touches in Photoshop. I recently broke my left elbow in my skateboard debut…...it hurt…...so, big points to the rest of you skateboarders out there for sticking with….but my skater girl days are over bigtime!!! lol

Jess n Jumbo are friends… / Jess is a Jungle Girl and walks on stilts…. / Jess met Jumbo who is a baby elephant, he was orphaned / Jess adopted Jumbo and they lived happily ever after in a treehouse deep in the heart of the Jungle Jess n Jumbo were created on brown paper, with a white gesso striped background…overlayed with chalk pastels and outlined in black felt tip pen… / Her cheeks are pink texta and i’ve used quite a bit of charcoal for the shaded areas / / /

Arrggghhh….I’m going to miss you all so much! Leaving tomorrow for a second honeymoon in NZ….not going to be much time for the bub, so I’ll just have to say hooroo and will catch up with you all when I return. Gotta go pack – cameras, lenses, tripod, cable release, lee filters, batteries, battery chargers, power leads, extension cord, powerboard….these are all essential, of course. Clothing and toiletries are optional extras… Take care all you lovely people, I’ll log in if I can, but it’s not going to happen often, I suspect.

I think deep down I have a bit of a thing for pirates. When it came time to do this shoot I seemed to have an awful lot of pirate accessories just lying around waiting to be used. It was good to get it out of my system. Only problem is now I can’t stop thinking of excuses to take more pirate photos. Not that you can see a lot of the clothing itself, but overall a great fashion shot, so I had to share! Enjoy! Oh & it’s not some weird red dot on her face, it’s a heart.
