Are there no shadows where you are, / I can see everything is day, / Problems that you try to hide away, / Keep pushing me aside / – Anberlin Enjoy!
This was taken with a flash of course.. it was later on in the eve and I saw these two working there way to a crash.. So I popped up and hand held as close as I dared with time running out. Its kind of neat the background was almost black .. these fellows do have neat color dabs on em.. / Chuck Large Wall Hangers Look Good

Predatory Australian fly called a “Robber Fly” – looks like it has a mask on. Photo taken in situ in grassland north of Melbourne with a Nikon D80 and Sigma 150mm macro lens balanced on my knees while I waited for the wind to stop! It’s one of my favorite photos because it was bloody hot and it took an hour following this beastie around before I got a suitably sharp one – it was riding this like a cowboy!
I got to sleep in this morning .. My Wife did not.. She went out with her camera and I went through them and found this. We are going to have fun in the days to come. I can teach her about aperture and DOF. Settings other than P or Auto.. In doing so I will find more in capture I am sure.. so much to learn.. But this color bunch she came up with looked so pretty.. Hope you enjoy.. Perfect Picture For Your Kitchen Area
In the fields… in Brandenburg (Germany)...
This image was captured at Enniskillen Orchard which is a part of the Hawkesbury Harvest and the Sydney Farm Gate Trail. / The photo is straight from my camera, which is one of the reasons I am so happy with it, everything just seemed to work! / This is what I consider to be the first successful insect macro I have taken, I was really happy with the composition.. I hope you like it! / As always it is best viewed large.. / Taken at lifesize (1:1) with a reversed 50mm f1.8 nikon lens..
Now for some fun.. This is for those who look at large view.. You have to look close if you want to get the most out of life.. The people here on RB make me smile and feel good inside.. Now maybe I can help one person smile.. Enjoy Don’t Wait To Say Hello With A Smile

What a plethora of colour! I love how this shot turned out excited I adore the bokeh effect mixed with the clarity of the drop on the left. It’s like a magic rainbow wonderland! A lot of ‘ladies’ came out of hiding this weekend with the beautiful, warm temperatures we had. I searched high & low almost all summer looking for ladybirds and found just a few. This weekend made up for it, however, as they were EVERYWHERE! / / Bugs are Beautiful / ADD RENEE TO YOUR WATCHLIST
Visit B&W version here When the FIRST universe was created, it was PERFECT. Perfect in all terms of it’s existence and behavior. Laws of MATTER and LIFE had perfection, so were predictable. Species lived PERFECT life and the nature had predictable perfection in her growth. These universes were short lived and were unstable as the PERFECT laws destoyed them easily. The purpose of creating the universe was lost….... The UNCERTAINTY factor was created after deep process and it has gifted EVOLUTION. Transformation from one form to other, one life to other became EASY & NATURAL. Now, the universes survived LONG enough to serve the PURPOSE. This thought reflects behavior & role of Brahman which supports the process creation and Maya who balances the the divine play to satisfy the PURPOSE behind. Like an individual every universe has it’s own LIFE and so the PURPOSE. We believe there are many, many universes LIKE US. These thoughts again APPEARED in my mind looking after these Gerbera petals, reflecting the process of DIVINE CREATION on the larger time scale – larger than a single human life or generation or even beyond our today’s excellence in knowledge. I belive it’s just in bits against the scale of Divine play. Comments – 136, Favorites – 15, Views – 2670 , Features – Not counted so far…....
