This image was taken by my girlfriend. The contrasting colours and the clarity of the texture of the tulip caught my eye.

Featured in the Homepage “Wall Art” section – 2008. Light trails of the standby LED of my computer monitor’s on/off switch in the “Off” state (orange). The international symbol for an on/off switch (a broken circle with a vertical bar through the break) can be seen in bright outline. A five second exposure at macro focus distance and aperture of f/8 with smooth slow camera movement by hand produced the swirling light trails. Copyright © 2008 Brian W. A tiny water drop on the shrivelled up leaf of a dying rose. I’ve always loved this song, in most of its incarnations.
