I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. • I was out feeding the Koi and Goldfish before the rain came in. The day was overcast and the winds were blowing upon my face. I could smell the rain.. As I was standing near one of the Koi ponds feeding the excited Koi I looked across the Lotus area and there was a beautiful Lotus Flower. I was surprised at its glow and shape. This I knew was the last Lotus Flower that I would see this year.. I must get the camera.. Oh but the rains are moving in.. Must move fast.. When the rains start it will be too late and the storms which are showering rain down now will change everything. I ran and grabbed the digital SLR and came back in a rush.. No time to set up a Tripod.. Nor time for the Mono pod.. Hold still now Chuck.. Exhale slow.. Squeeze ever so smooth.. again , again , again, The rain is starting to come harder.. The winds are picking up… Back in the house .. load the memory on the computer.. I had one capture that I was happy with.. I will share it with the people I care for on RB.. This is my token of friendship .. Please except it as is.. I except you.. / Chuck What A Picture For Your Wall Buy It Here
