My little view on what the world needs a bit more of…
Daffodil, Nikon D60 / Top ten #3 in the challenge It’s HOT!!
A wet apple blossom, photographed in my next-door neighbor’s back yard. The translucent white petals were reflecting just enough of the available natural light onto the “heart” of the blossom to allow the shot to be possible. This shot was captured on May 2nd, 2009. It is “untouched”, just as the lens “saw” it. This macro photo was captured with a Canon EOS 10D using a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/30th sec at f/16. The camera’s ISO was set to 400. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release. Your comments are always welcome! Constructive criticism is appreciated. © 2009 Gene Walls All copyright and reproduction rights are retained by the artist.
