The chapel at this nursing home was blocked shut to try and keep people out with the organ and a few table heads in front of the door, as you can see though we managed to get in thanks to a bit brute force and being able to push the blockade back far enough to squeeze past it. Im really glad we did as you will see in other pics from this series it was worth it.

I picked this rose out of my garden today (smells amazing by the way!!), decided to play around with lighting and this was the effect I achieved. Anyway, I like this one for a first attempt so I thought I will put this one up for a while to hopefully get some constructive criticism.. Also, I would love to know if this photo is to dark or light, I was trying to re-calibrate my monitor and I think I’ve might of messed it up! This is a portrait of a house cat from one of the Mornington Peninsula Wineries (25 July, 2009) who just sits around all day! For the record, I’m a dog person and I’m allergic to cats but this cat was so well behaved and just sat so still I couldn’t help my self but photograph it!
