A macro shot of an orange/yellow/red leaf
-
Okay well this morning I felt the urge to get out and finally take some new pics and the first thing that caught my eye was a bunch of dandelions that were starting to break apart.. However I didn’t feel like just taking a plain shot of a dandelion, I felt like doing something a tad more artistic, so today I have a series of three dandelion shots that I have processed in an artistic way to break free of the standard flower macro bounds.. I am open to all feedback because I will only keep shots uploaded that people think are worth being on the sight.. Thanks for having a look! With this particular shot, I attempted to capture the moment of the decline of the dandelion as it begins to fall apart now that Spring has past, and I think I managed to do that (atleast I hope!).. I chose black and white because I believe it often has the power to evoke emotion and mood into an image..

The iris comes in a large variety of types and colors. The predominant quality that is associated with irises is purity. The name itself is derived from the Greek word for rainbow. Their meaning has grown to include faith, hope, wisdom and passion. This makes an elegant card for many occasions / /

My ambitions for spring Make sure every day contains a bowl of coffee, two pats of a black cat, one shimmy to a funky bassline, dirty cackling with wenches, a wink at a stranger, ten minutes of basking in the sun with upturned face, one coat of ruby lipstick, and inkstains on at least four of my fingers as I turn into bed. Oh, and cheese. Lots of cheese. Anything else I should add?
