  • June. Here comes flower season and a visit to a local Iris farm surprisingly produced a wondeful poppy patch just asking to have their pictures taken. I was trying to catch an image of just one of the plethora of honey bees who were also appreciating these flowers, however, I only caught this close up of the humble flower itself as it was offering its temptation to both me and the bees. Nobody got stung, the bees got their pollen, and you and I got this picture for our eternal enjoyment. It was a very good day! Canon G9 Compact / ISO 80 / f/4.0 / 1/800 /

  • I believe abstract photography can symbolize a basic mood, or feeling, or even a season. Though abstract images are by definition open to interpretation, I have tried to align these images with the seasons I feel they best represent to me.
