Graphite pencils on cartridge paper. / Reference / the floral pattern can be blamed upon my dead school teacher who brain washed me with her obsession in William Morris wall paper. Is a bit funky though. he he. / I know the 12 o clock shadow is an odd thing to do a conceptual drawing about but the whole background and title came to me while i was drawing the portrait so I went with it. / Have you ever seen a man so pretty!? especially with stubble! ha ha!

The Custom House Tower is a skyscraper in McKinley Square, in the Financial District neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts I been asked, how this was done. Digital Art Compilations of 2 shots: / Sky taken by my Nikon D60 and tower which was taken with Canon Powershot S3 IS in AB mode and processed first as HDR, then 2 images was blended in PS Elements 6.0 , I used multiple layers to blend the colors, until they looked right to me. “Customs House Clock Tower” Customs House Clock Tower was WINNER of the challenge Outdoor Timepieces in the group Mood & Ambience … November 12, 2009 featured in That’s Entertainment on July 27, 2009 Challenge Win in Any Type of Timepiece – All Artwork Allowed on July 26, 2009 “Customs House Clock Tower” was featured in Majestic Massachusetts on May 31, 2009 May 18 , 2009 – Second place with 5 votes( same as winner) / in Clocks!!! My self portrait final for my Drawing II class. This took me a looooong time. I was up till 7am Wednesday night to finish this piece! Chalk pastel pencils & sticks, charcoal, white Rives BFK archival paper. My face is supposed to be dollish and unrealistic. Too bad a lot of the details are lost on here, maybe I will post links to detail shots later. I’m quite happy with this piece and I got an 97% =]
