  • This is a collaboration i did with the incredibly talented Hans Kawitzki’s picture “The Forest”. Once again, as this is a collaboration, all proceeds will go to the Fred Hollows Foundation.

  • The dark elf rested on the rock face, taking the moment to wipe the last trace of blood from her blade. The dull light made her eyes ache, and she wished again that she was miles underground… Thanks to Kym Breeze for being an awesome sport and coming out with me for the day for a fantasy-themed photo session! She was a great model, not too demanding LOL!

  • Ink, watercolour and pencil drawing on paper. / Illustration I did whilst reading the book Wicked by Gregory Maguire. / Chistery is Elphaba’s beloved monkey whom she later sews wings onto. I really don’t like this drawing but I thinks it’s the closest I got to visualizing how sweet and innocent Chistery is in the book.

  • When nearing the pirate occupied territory of Klannz, all the patrols try to stay in stealth mode. / Here we see a patrol with two ships just going to cloak.

  • The Black King’s Bishop (The Shaman) / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny Descendants of an ancient race, the Shaman have links to the old ways, ways observed before man was the dominant species of the world. The shaman is spiritual overlord of the army and is answerable only to the king. Legend has it the ancestors of the king tricked the shaman – even then a dying breed- to serve him and in doing so bound their loyalty to all kings that followed for all time. / Shaman have become an intricate link in the chain that have evolved into the Armies of the Black Spear and it’s development into the warrior nation it has now become. The Shaman through majik and selective breeding have created the Black Knights, Monoliths, Basilisk and Pawn Spawn / The Shaman does not regret or harbor resentment for things past and is totally loyal to the king and the betterment of the Army of the Black Spear. The Shaman splits itself into two distinct personalities when it enters the battle controlling each body with either side of its brain. Left for Queen – Right for King. Read more of the Shaman here

  • The Black King-Knight’s Pawn / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny Leapers. or Spring Booted Knaves, are notorious for their quick starts into battle. / Like all pawns they are soon abandoned to look after themselves on the field of battle thus giving them firm grounding on the rules of battlefield survival and the road to being a General Knight.

  • The White Queen’s Knight (the Equilord) / Artist: Jordan Clarke / Biography: Danny Actual warrior soldiers from a different part of the kingdom and not products of the University, these Centaur type Knights are regarded highly by the King to protect his Queen and siege engines. Highly skilled in battle many have been resurrected and used as King’s Generals. Just as the King keeps the Ancient Knights under his flank the King also relies on the Centaurs to keep him informed of the Queen’s actions. The Centaurs are fiercely loyal to both King and Queen but know ultimately who is Ruler of the Kingdom
