  • “spend less time being proud of your ancestors and spend more time making your ancestors proud of you.” Whilst this is not technically brilliant it strikes a huge chord with me, and was something that I had to do. Like it, or leave it, it doesn’t matter to me, it is just an exorcism this is not in any way an attack on the German Nation or it’s people, it is purely about the insanity of war, and the fact that the lessons that should be learnt are consistently NOT learnt “Power” depicts the power of Adolf Hitler to influence minds over 60 years after his death, It states “lest we forget” because we never should allow anything like this to happen again, and yet, there are Neo-Nazi’s springing up all over the world. The Falun Gong, is the symbol the Nazi’s stole and turned into most hated sign in the world, the Swastika, and yet, in Sanskrit, Swastika means “good being” And of course the eternal symbol of remembrance the Poppy Lest we Forget Kriss P.S. with every reply I have posted Video links each and every one showing the conflict from differents points of view and as best I can with reference to the nationality of the person commenting, I guess I will run out of relevant vids eventually, but I will endeavour to do my best with it, thank you for stopping by to look and taking the time to comment, Kriss Featured in

  • another shot from my stroll last night along the River Lea, Hackney, London this time the bridge leading into the old dock can be seen in the foreground, this was until the 60’s a thriving river dock and industrial site and like a lot of old industrial sites housing has replaced it, thankfully these developers did it as sympathetically as possible, and even refurbished some of the old buildings and incorporated them into the new develpment, the horrid purple hoarding will soon be gone as well leaving this part of this river a nice place to be / / FUJIFILM FinePix S6500fd / f / 4.5 / 8 second exposure / ISO – 100 / 6mm / Filter, Cokin A Star 8 Featured a Million thanks to Jenseyes featured in Moody, Dark and Evocative many thanks to the hosts Stephanie M. • Being the kind and concerned chap I am, when I saw Rubyjo’s Save your Ta Ta’s Post I had to ask her about Male Breast Cancer but seeing as we are talking about MAN Boobs here, ( not that I have them OK ) it occurred to me that men would probably detect testicular cancer before breast cancer, / yes I admit that men hang on to their balls ! So I asked Ruby about male Breast Cancer, as she is all clued up on the medical side I thought it would be better to ask for her take on this rather than mine :) Over to Ruby: OK, so CLiPiCs saw my TA-TAs pic and told me he had already been thinking about doing a pic about men and breast cancer. He asked if I would write something about men and breast cancer. And since I am all about you being educated about your health I said, sure! / . / So, MEN- listen up! / You can develop breast cancer too. / There are currently 2 men in our medical practice with breast cancer, and there have been others through the years. While it is more common after age 60 in men, one of our patients was much younger. / . / Soooo, whats breast cancer look like in men? / Most male breast cancers present as lumps around the nipple area, you’ve got less breast tissue then women so its concentrated there (ok, most men have less breast tissue than most women, geeze). It can also cause skin changes such as dimpling, inverted nipples, or nipple discharge. But it might just be a lump. / . / What makes a man more prone to developing breast cancer? / Risk factors include having a Mother or Sister with breast cancer. Men with higher levels of female hormones, i.e. estrogen are at increased risk. And a history of radiation exposure to the chest area is a risk factor (that does not include microwave ovens, i get asked that a lot). / . / Do men survive breast cancer? / The outcome for men with breast cancer is about the same as for women, however, men tend to wait before seeking medical attention and therefore the cancer is more advanced when diagnosed. Men! Use your head (on your shoulders) and have lumps checked out. Breast cancer needs to be diagnosed early! Thank you Ruby / profits from any sales will be donated to cancer research Love ‘N’ Laughter Kriss ♥ / Featured / Many Thanks to the Hosts, Matthew Dawkins And Shaoib
