Hey what’s up?.... ladies.. Everything sounds sleazy when you add ladies to the end. And dont you love the help tool in Microsoft office!?
yes, hello everyone. Check me out! I know how to get around. I’ve got wings, you say? That’s not the secret! Look how cute and fluffy I am. I know how to pick them-that’s what I mean. I escaped from the clutches of some random human, and honed in on a new one once I escaped-the head animal keeper, no less. But he didn’t have time for me, so he gave me to his dad. He also found me a bit scary-I tried to show him how much I love him…held him dear. He thought that was biting him! Yeah, this beak is pretty strong, huh-huh. So a bird lover on the team (my current pet) took me home. I welcome her and all visitors with excitement. Screech! They can’t believe their ears, and hold their hands over their ears, to keep the sound in there for ages. It’s pretty cool. So, every now and then, I give them a new treat. Screech! They get such a happy surprise! Here I am. Shyly looking back at you. See how pretty I am!

All images are © Copyright Rosa cobos 2009 . All rights reserved *Dear friends… / It is my pleasure to invite to this experiment. Initially, I had edited the Leonard Cohen’s, clip “Suzanne”, with, for my taste … an extraordinary result. But unfortunately, the owners of the reproduction rights (a multinational), did not think the same, and they, with justice … banned it from You Tube. I understood that it was a risk that I had taken, and that they had the right to do it. But… my navieté had been more passionate than prudent. / / Well… I had worked really hard for the project that had been haunting my creativity during months… And as the clip had been there all ready for it.. I tried to perform the song myself. Well must admit that that as all my neurons, and guts and heart was so taken by Leonard’s soul and magic, that, though, I had edited the sound.. it did not satisfied me and did not render the artistic level that the song needed. / So what to do? Well.. my purpose was firm… my heart hot.. and my husband as always ready for helping. And then.. humbly decided to recite the lyrics… and lent it a wonderful watery bachian background. So… now… if you remember the music you can look for it in your mind.. or just go to You Tube… where, may be you can find some performing.. of any kind.. of this great man. (I have not looked for it) and if you are contended with the extraordinary poem with such profund symbolism and touching energy, you may hear my voice… while contemplating the Suzanne’s adventures… that since I can remember have moved my whole being till trembling and tears. This is my contribution to this great man and artist, which voice is like a cave where one can feel secure, loved and sensually soul-attracted. / Rosa You can listen and see here . Suzanne

Why be like everyone else? A yellow paperclip on a pile of plain metal paperclips MY BUBBLESITE
a long time ago I made a video clip for a band called Severed Heads for a dance track called Dead Eyes Open… this quickly became a cult classic dance track hit type thing in the inner city dark at that time…. reflecting back on that time I thought I might post some out takes from the making of the original clip…. it was a very very cheap affair let me tell you… borrowed cameras from art school and a bunch of inner city punkgothgroovers getting pissed on the fabulous punch we provided to them … just to get them in the mood of course….. then bring on the music and let it rip…. back in the days that’s all you had to do….. cameras punch and music a bit of heavy make up and make a classic clip in one day…. couldn’t even imagine doing that now…. oh and silk screen a bunch of gear with some rocking skulls…. that was the ‘look’ back then…. / . / . / . /
