The river powers this old red mill, a landmark in Clinton, NJ. Built originally as a wool mill in 1810, it was converted in the late 1800’s to a grist mill. Now a museum, with the mill wheel still being powered by the river and falls. Perhaps if we were as smart as our ancestors we would think of a way to generate energy again from free sources of energy like the waves of the oceans, the rivers power, and the wind, phasing out gas, and pollution generating sources of energy..

Related Work – Portraiture Related Work – Weddings Related Work – My Favourites I apologise for the quality of this image – it is a photo of a print in an album as I have not yet got the neg to scan. It is marked with the copyright for Ian Poke Photography of Cairns (I applied it to the image) for whom I did the wedding in 1998. Originally taken on a Rollei 6002, 150mm Rolleigon lens @ f8, Nikon SF Filter grade 1, home made vignetter, ambient light (down lights – very high contrast) with minimal bounce flash off the ceiling to cool the warm tones of the lights down a bit.

Nestled outside of Copper Mountain in Colorado, this caught my attention fast as I was coming back home to Denver. It literally came out of no where, and thus I slammed on the breaks and made a B-line for the shoulder of the road. This was an utterly incredible scene, looking like it has never even been touched by man…..standing here looking at this, was nothing but absolute paradise….. / --John —-—-—-—-— See more on my website jdebordphoto.com

Clinton, NJ – Nov 2007 – Made to look like an Oll Painting

Wow, I’m really scraping the bottom of the barrel pulling this thing out of mothballs! This little bitty was painted quite some time ago (I’m not sure exactly how long but I think Bill Clinton was still in office) It is the result of a lot of extra oil paint laying around, no brushes, no life, and a splitting headache. It’s also quite good at giving people headaches…go figure.

President Bill Clinton and Monika Lewinski Intern shared a loving relationship and remained his loyal friend till end; unlike. Paula Jones, who became a bit bitter due to her separation. A classical Love Triangle. However, Senator Hillary Clinton a bit diappointed but got wisdom to left it all behind and loved Mr Clinton and establishsed more closer ties with him. When the Clintons give up…

©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 03/19/08. A mixed media caricature of Hillary Clinton as the “new” Statue of Liberty. Here’s my explanation for how she appears. At the top she holds a flashlight, with gas prices up who can afford a torch? On her head is the crown of the original statue, this crown was put there by the Democratic Party in secret promises to her made while her husband was President. Under her right arm is a big red book, it is either Bill’s lady friends phone numbers or an encyclopedia of little dark secrets of Congressmen to be used as blackmai later. She’s wrapped in a flag to give her that All-American appeal as she stands on a pile of skulls. The skulls symbolizes her ruthlessness at dirty politics and her public and private scandals. This work is inspired by the current state of American politics.
