The 1914 Edinburgh Cameo is a Category B listed cinema. The outside doesn’t look like much, but inside – when we were allowed in – it is pure Edwardian “Italian Renaissance” – dramatic and splendid, from when going to the cinema was a treat, not a cardboard package.
