Thank you all for your support of this image. It’s a bit scary to put these things out there, and I really appreciate all the comments it’s gotten. This is truly about me – where I’ve come from as a girl, and what I’ve gone through as a woman. I think it’s an image that many can relate to in some way, and as mentioned in some comments, it hits nerves. Rather than explain the photo, I’ll leave it up to the viewer. I think it may mean something different to each individual that looks at it. I don’t want to take that from you. To me, it has an important message. See what you can get from it, and I hope it will benefit you in some way.
Just a funny shirt to add to a collection…..also in Braille(by that I mean the dots above what it says is actually in braille dots…(no you can’t actually feel them unless you want to get slapped). I made this available in mens as well just for the extreme humor if there’s a man out there brave enough to wear it!!!!

This is rather a bold piece for me, but still I like it. I would be interested in knowing what you thought of it as well. I didn’t choose to do this as just a form of flaunting my sexuality for the attention. It’s kinda complicated, but I felt it was a good way to represent alot of things that are important to me. My faith (the pentacle), love (my heart), the lace represents femininity, the bright color represents the love of beautiful things, creativity, and standing out from the crowd. The breasts, obviously do represent sexuality, but also my freedom to embrace it without fear of shame, guilt, or embarrassment Even in this day and age, women are made to feel that they must not do this, that they must oppress this side of them, and if they don’t, they are labeled as a whore, treated very badly, and not taken seriously. This is a disgusting double standard, that no matter how hard we try, we cannot seem to shake. Society as a whole needs to learn to respect women and treat them how they deserve to be treated, as they are… beautiful, intelligent, nurturing, valuable, unique, worthy EQUALS! This is how ALL people should be treated. Model: Mama & The Girls ;) / Date: August 2007 / Location: Statesville, Wilson, TN, USA / Photographer: FireLilyAMG/Allyssa L. The picture was taken using a Powershot G9 on manual setting. The lighting was done using 8 low energy Daylight bulbs in photographic reflectors shot against a black backdrop. Image was adjusted in painter 9 to give the extra contrast. She was a little self conscious and distracted at the beginning of the shoot. I don’t think the small crowd she brought with her helped really. It included her ex-lesbian girlfriend, her 6 year old daughter, and some guy. This shot was taken while she just relaxed and adjusted her skirt. In the end I got a good few shots that worked really well. This is one of the best.
