Taken in the bush near Alice Springs. Waiting for the sun to come up and saw this dead tree and just had to take a shot with all the colours behind it.

I took this picture on the steepest island of the world…La Palma (canarian islands). Although it’s the steepest island of the world it’s very rare that it’s snowy on top of the biggest vulcanic mountain. / It was a lucky week so I drove all the way up to the “Roche De Los Muchachos”>>> / (3000 metres high). Shortly before I reached the top a little cave caught my attention. / I went inside and discovered beautiful, thick icicles. The energy there was incredible….it felt pure….above the clouds…elements. check what the product looks like here thank you for stopping by!

To give an indication of the sheer size and scale of this cloud mass, on the bottom right of this image there are some full-sized pine trees and that small white dot next to them is a huge lighthouse sitting on the end of an island. . . Digital Camera

Unbelievably blue colour was on display the day I took this shot. My D80 was set on a preset that enhanced natural colours of landscapes but my reference shots (taken both with my Olympus and the RAWS from the Nikon) confirm that depth of the hues seen here. Feeley Lake is located in Nevada County, CA in an area with numerous lakes, some created for water storage reasons like this one. The thing that is most remarkable about Feeley though is the fact that the water is deep but almost completely clear as far down as the light can reach.

This is a photograph of a huge icicle that was hanging off of my house, the sun had set so all I had to add, was shadow. It looks like It’s reaching out to catch the water droplet. Some of you know how much I love finding familiar shapes in nature so when I come across something like this I keep asking ….”should I post it”? :) I did it :)

Green just seems to be on my mind lately. I took this photograph at Three Creeks and then heavily messed with it in Photoshop, I mean…ahem…I processed it utilizing several filters in a fancy way.

P/S retouched by Ange 2007, 35mm film photograph by Ana S. Model: Leesa. Ana is a great close friend of mine I met way back in our late teens when we were both studying for a BA in Photography at uni. Currently working for Getty Images in Sydney she entered the retouched version last year and won (a Getty employee based only) competition. Brief was to portray transition in time…(in this case child to young adult). Post production was accepted so she asked if I could make the model appear slightly younger. It’s a great shot in its own right – I’m sure it still would of won without any extra enhancing & was mighty chuffed for her wining a digital camera as first place winner. I softened shadows under the eyes including frown lines between the eyebrows & airbrushed face/arms. Added overall warm toned photo filter & curve adjustment. Original shot below.
