Taken in the bush near Alice Springs. Waiting for the sun to come up and saw this dead tree and just had to take a shot with all the colours behind it.

I took this picture on the steepest island of the world…La Palma (canarian islands). Although it’s the steepest island of the world it’s very rare that it’s snowy on top of the biggest vulcanic mountain. / It was a lucky week so I drove all the way up to the “Roche De Los Muchachos”>>> / (3000 metres high). Shortly before I reached the top a little cave caught my attention. / I went inside and discovered beautiful, thick icicles. The energy there was incredible….it felt pure….above the clouds…elements. check what the product looks like here thank you for stopping by!

To give an indication of the sheer size and scale of this cloud mass, on the bottom right of this image there are some full-sized pine trees and that small white dot next to them is a huge lighthouse sitting on the end of an island. . . Digital Camera

I was here today on the Logan River, in the canyon not far from home. I loved the ‘just now turning’ leaves and magnificent reflections in the clear water… Little Boat and the butterfly wanted to go with me so I shot some pics of them as well… heehee..

Perhaps my favorite stretch of sand on Maui is this. Po’olenalena Beach is where I generally go to make images of hula dancers, and find quiet moments. Po’olenalena is “over the rocks” and so most tourists cannot find it. This image is layered from 5 exposures, creating a High Dynamic Range effect.

P/S retouched by Ange 2007, 35mm film photograph by Ana S. Model: Leesa. Ana is a great close friend of mine I met way back in our late teens when we were both studying for a BA in Photography at uni. Currently working for Getty Images in Sydney she entered the retouched version last year and won (a Getty employee based only) competition. Brief was to portray transition in time…(in this case child to young adult). Post production was accepted so she asked if I could make the model appear slightly younger. It’s a great shot in its own right – I’m sure it still would of won without any extra enhancing & was mighty chuffed for her wining a digital camera as first place winner. I softened shadows under the eyes including frown lines between the eyebrows & airbrushed face/arms. Added overall warm toned photo filter & curve adjustment. Original shot below.
