  • The Isle of Skye lies of the West Coast of Scotland. I was sitting on top of a cliff on the Island at 4am with my Border Collie and Camera by my side, just dreaming till day break when i spotted the light over what I call the Lower Isles breaking through the early morning clouds. My dreams had come true. CANON EOS 300D / 18-55mm Lens / Tripod / Remote

  • The Trossachs National Park lies just North of Stirling and is the Gateway to the Scottish Highlands. I spotted the light on the hillside as I was out for a drive.

  • Taken from Calton Hill looking across to the Bridges and below is Market Street. The very large building is the old Scotsman newspaper buildings but has now been changed into a 5 star hotel. When I first viewed the finished work I was not so sure about it, but then it started to grow on me and gave me the impression of and old vintage style postcard. Since 2006 this image has become a pretty good seller on the stretch canvas.

  • Woman in red lingerie smoking / 22×30” mixed medium

  • Watercolour homage to oil painter Paraskeva Clark (1898 – 1986)

  • 22×30” mixed medium featuring model/Playboy PM Devon.

  • This my little buddy, Daniel Clarke. Daniel and his family are dear friends of mine. Daniel has Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and his wheelchair serves no boundary for this young man who is determined to make a difference. You may have seen him on TV. Daniel was promised money by the previous Australian Government ( a promise they couldn’t keep). The current Australian Government isn’t going to honour the other parties promises. That’s just the way it is. Daniel could have taken his family to Disneyland as part of a “make a wish” foundation gift but instead he chose to try to save endangered Orangutans of Borneo & Sumatra instead. Any money I make from this will be given %100 to Daniel. He is an everyday hero who just wants to make a difference. “http://www.everydayhero.com.au/danielclarke” I am not asking anyone to pass this on to anyone else but I wont say not to ! I am just doing what I can for this wonderful kid. Thanks for dropping in and reading this. Regards / Steven Guy PS. I apologise for adding this every group I am a part of and will be removing it on Wednesday, Sydney time. I will then remove this entry from all groups, except where relevant. Thankyou, I hope you don’t mind my intrusion. One card purchase just might make a difference.

  • We now know it is good fortune to run across a Mook, the largest inhabitant of this planet, about the size of a small villiage, and they’re fascinated with all humans much like Earth’s whales and dolphins are. / The first encounter with a Mook was by a crew member who’d fallen into a very deep crevasse, injured, and the Mook had gently pulled him to safety, then proceeded to softly “pat” our survivor on the head and shoulders while sending out a low frequency sonar-type signal. Later our crew member described “fear was quickly replaced by a feeling of well being and comfort, and being petted by such a giant creature resembled being tapped lightly with a balloon animal”. / Since then we have learned Mooks munch on the lichens, float in the sunlight doing a kind of photosynthesis, and they are always attracted to human activities. Also, if you give one a marshmallow, it’ll follow you around like a puppy. We like Mooks, they like us. Bunny’s lovely original fractal Elegance of Light: and the converted terrain object:

  • The White Queen-Knight’s Pawn / Artist: Jordan Clarke / Biography: Danny The Equilord and his race, though no match for the White King’s enhanced and magically assisted army were no slouches in battle in their glory days before the rise of the Army of the White Wing and the Equilords amalgamation with it. / History will all show the Equilord as a peaceful and enlightened race but not one to shirk away from a battle if needed to defend itself. / The equine based lifeforms had also the knowledge and capacity to perform quite a few battle tricks of their own and it is these that the White King was so keen to have them as valued allies. / One major battle tactic of the infantry was to create illusions bordering on hallucinogenic, these would include the army morphing into schools of Hippocampus (horse/fish) complete with massive waves forming before it. / This of course was affective as any trebuchet or archery onslaught to the hapless foot soldiers usually facing the field opposite them and cause the opposition to scatter in wild flight.

  • 10/1/09 ~ Featured in Color me a Rainbow ~ Thank you!!! An old hunting camp at the base of Peter’s Mountain, framed by crimson autumn leaves and a country field – taken during an evening walk along Stahl’s Drive, Clarks Valley, PA – 9/24/09 This field is beside my son’s house and is always full of deer at night. They never come out during the day so I can take pics!

  • The White Queen’s Knight (the Equilord) / Artist: Jordan Clarke / Biography: Danny Actual warrior soldiers from a different part of the kingdom and not products of the University, these Centaur type Knights are regarded highly by the King to protect his Queen and siege engines. Highly skilled in battle many have been resurrected and used as King’s Generals. Just as the King keeps the Ancient Knights under his flank the King also relies on the Centaurs to keep him informed of the Queen’s actions. The Centaurs are fiercely loyal to both King and Queen but know ultimately who is Ruler of the Kingdom

  • 10/15/09 ~ Featured in Live, Love, Dream ~ Thank you!!!! :o) A beautiful autumn morning in Clarks Valley. Taken where Clarks Creek meets the Dehart Dam near Tower City, PA – 10/11/09. Stony Mountain reflecting in the water.

  • A sunlit golden tree at sunrise ~ Clarks Creek/Dehart Dam, Tower City, PA ~ Taken 10/11/09 – natural color and light. I am very fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of Pennsylvania. Sometimes the scenery seems boring because I’ve lived here all my life. But, on this beautiful morning the colors, reflections and scenery were awesome. Photography has really taught me to appreciate all of nature’s beauty, and I’m getting better at using my camera settings too!
