Renowned guitarist Eric Clapton played with Cream and Derek and the Dominoes, before making his name as a solo artist. Fame and success have not affected his quiet and modest demeanor, however. He is also no stranger to tragedy, having lost his son at the age of four when the boy fell from a window and was killed instantly in 1991. Clapton immediately penned the emotional ballad ‘Tears in Heaven.’ / This portrait was completed in charcoal and pastels.
