Blue Clams from Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Indian Ocean Territories, Australia. This has been my most successful print to date. It won the Open Colour Section of the York Society Photography Awards 2008, a Highly Commended in the Melville Art Awards 2008 and a Highly Commended in the ANZANG Nature Photography Awards 2008, Underwater category. I think the abstract nature appeals to people? Canon 5D, ISO 400, f8, AV MODE, 24-105MM L Series Canon Lens / Handheld, no flash, Auto White Balance.

location: Huntington Beach, CA we later boiled this clam at our bonfire and made David eat it… apparently it was pretty good… we also caught a few hermit crabs too…and according to David, we didn’t cook the crabs long enough, so they tasted like crap…

The double tailed mermaid is an enchanted creature that, once seen, can cause great fortune to fall on the beholder. However, if caught, even by accident it can cause a great and unbreakable curse to fall onto the unfortunate captor… This is a sketch that turned into an ink…that turned itself into a cp drawing…That finally resulted in a computer rendition. So now..I’m done :D / My mom really liked the cp version to the point that she said she wanted it. So basically this is dedicated to her. I might get her a print at some point. :3

Thankyou for your feature vote in the Abstract from Nature Group Interlocking horned clam shell.. I like how it can be a path.. interlocking mechanism.. an adventurous ride of an hourglass… trying to get these to appear on the same focal layer can be difficult.

This was just for fun. I love using bright, fun colors in my work. Lately I’ve been trying to learn to paint with Photoshop – so I was experimenting with the brushes in this piece. Artwork© Emily Emerson

Personally this is one of two from my masterpiece collection and my own personal favorite well its a toss up. I think I captured the true essence of a ship heading out to sea, the wakes, textures, and ocean colors. / Here I have shown what it will look like as a Poster, hopefully RB will look into selling Poster versions of art here in the future. / . / . / . / . / Currently this image is not for sale, due to the required calibrations for printing here at RedBubble, it will take some time to reconstruct each individual image to the appropriate configurations needed. So please be patient. If you would like to purchase this piece of art now, feel free to contact me via email and I will replace the image with a high quality reproducton for your collection within 24 hours. Within a month ( By 11/10/07)all images will be made available for sale, I have just now decided to start selling my works here. Thank you~Lisa C. Weber.

This work is an Intaglio print made with a linoleum matte. The subject has interesting textures and line qualities. The large pearl provides for both a nice focal point and a symbolic representation of transforming beauty. It was produced in 2004.
