My dear Emma helped me with the editing here, because I was going nowhere. I’m still not happy with it.. it still doesn’t look right, but here it is. My work seems to have turned for the worst recently… Canon 450D. The model is my sister, and I drew (freehand!) the body. Massive experiment with combining medias. Featured artwork for November 2007 / Homepage artwork for November 2007 “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness.” Matthew 6:22, 23 Canon XTI, 18 – 55mm @ 34 mm, 1/8 sec, F/13, ISO 1600. Processing in CS3.
This was taken at St Clair Beach, Dunedin, New Zealand, in summer. This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera.
At the end of Lake St Claire, the deepest lake in Tasmania, the shoreline is made up of a glacial moraine, many small rocks tumbled down the mountains by water, ice and other rocks.
The remains of a hydrangea petal (H.macrophylla), beautiful in life but stunning in death.

Another image from the recent Tony Ryan “Empowered Beauty” workshop held in Millicent recently. Featuring the beautiful and empowering model Claire. Twenty photographers took part in these sessions over two days and all walked away with a new found understanding about the true quality of taking photographs in the moment…..this was due to the instruction and teachings of Tony and the sensational models Claire and Josh. Homepage artwork for November 2007 After seeing Devan Foster’s “Juxtaposed image”, i thought i’d share my “A day in the life of…” with you. / Basically, i wanted to see if i could commit to capturing a whole year of my life by taking a picture daily. / It started as a fun challenge with a friend but has turned into something more about acceptance now. Acceptance of all the flaws and appreciating the differences. / I reached my 365 shot on the 19.10.07. / The series marks such a big year in my life; including emigrating to another country, falling in love and the death of my grandpa. I now view it as a baseline in my life. A time when future events (marriage, birth of children and death) can always be related back to this year and every day it contains. / Hope you enjoy x

Model – Millie Claire / MUA – Cloe Bunter of Makeup by Cloe Pentacon Six TL + Kodak Portra 160VC / I won’t show the digital versions, seems to have caused a little friction on dA ;) Needless to say if you’re familiar with the original Snow White text, you might just know what this is about :D Melbourne’s Parklands have very photogenic footpaths. I believe this was shot in the Queen Vic Park… I dunno, it was hot and there were a LOT of parks. Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas
Banff National Park is Canada’s oldest national park, established in 1885, in the Canadian Rockies. / The park is located in the province of Alberta and encompasses 6,641 square kilometres of mountainous terrain, numerous glaciers and ice fields. / The landscape is vast and hard to describe in a few words but “breathe taking” would sum it up quite well! / This image was taken whilst driving through the nearly deserted mountainous passes and always reminds me of what it was like to see each peak for the first time; turning every bend in the road and just being speechless. / You get completely immersed in the history of the area and can’t help but think about all the pioneers who carved the way before you. It is a humbling experience to be there and makes you so thankful you have had a chance to see it. Nb: Just to clarify, i wasn’t driving when i took this image…. Paul was!!!! I was trying to grab a shot whilst his hands where firmly on the steering wheel. Safety first people! HAHA! Canon XTI rebel, 10 – 20mm lens @ 11mm, 1/40 sec, F/11, Grad filter. Processing in CS3
