My first panorama, manually stitched in Photoshop. The sky was absolutely amazing that day. Infrared.

Just being free, running around a beautiful field, all stress and bad thoughts off her mind…

Went to my grandparents in bluffton for thanksgiving.. beautiful night :) Had to take the photo on my knee, my tripod way in my dad’s car and he was gone! I was surprised it came out this clear. I’m glad it did!

Another in the Outdoor Living series. Infrared.

My cat Willow. Attempting to read music. She’s smart and cuddly. I bet she could learnnn psshh XD An old photo that I just re-processed, since I lost the other processed ones after wiping my computer a few times. That wasn’t too smart on my part. But I’m glad I still had the NEF file to work with.

From one of my first portrait shoots. Let me know what you think!

Something different.

One of my first photos I was ever pleased with. Took a lot of patience and was very redundant, but I think it came out alright. I will most likely redo this eventually due to the washing out that is in this one.

Another in the series of Reaching the Sky.

Some wildflowers around our house.

A beautiful foggy morning at our house, I had to get a shot out at the barn. :) This photo was taken back in April ‘06. Back in the day I felt the need to do a lot of post processing to this photo. So I did. Since then I absolutely hated this photo, because of the post processing I did. Now, this time, the only post processing used was cropping, levels, and a border. I like it much better than before. Hope you like.

Right before sunset… a beautiful place to be. This lighting only lasted for about 10 minutes, then was gone.

This was the beautiful creek we had way back in our yard at the old house. It was an amazing place to walk around and listen to.

A shot of Andrea while we took a walk on a path near town.

I thought it was a grill at first, but I asked my grandma and she told me it was something for geese… and now I’m wondering why they always have geese to shoot at. Haha. That explains it.

My first Infrared shot taken outside of a church in town. the church isn’t that exiting looking… and the clouds could have been better but hey I shoot with what I’ve got. Though I am actually very happy with the ring of light the clouds gave me. More noisy then I had hoped… ah well. / Also much more post processing needed because I manually adjusted white balance incorrectly while shooting. Doh! A lot of color adjustment and some noise reduction used.

Another taken out around the barn. Infrared.

The 2nd in the Free series.

Decided to take a walk around the park late at night since I went with other people who decided to play some football. I eventually found this bench in the corner of the park, and came up with a surreal idea of a shadowy figure filled with loneliness, fear, separation, and thought.

I decided to call my mom and see if I could get a ride to this church. I asked, “Hey mom there’s this church I’ve been wanting to go to, can you take me to it?” Then she says “what??” And I say “Yeah.. the only cool looking church around here.” and she goes “Ohhhhhhh I was thinking hmm he wants to go to church? this isn’t my son O.o.” XD Thought it was amusing. But yeah it was cool, she just took me here and I shot while she cleaned her car out.

I feel that my facial expression and the lighting of this photo portray the word bipolar. / One side is much brighter with the eye wide open, manic looking to me. The other is dark, and looks more depressive. Along with many other things expressing each side.

Full of thought. Infrared.

The lighting was absolutely perfect for this photo at the time. This was the last photo I shot of Laura, as we came back up from the woods. It was around 6 or 7pm I’m pretty sure, so the sun had gone down a bit, so the light went right through the trees casting the soft shadows onto the side of the barn, and to bring those shadows out and create contrast between Laura, the barn and the shadows, I used my Hoya R72 infrared filter, which made Laura look much more pale, and brought out the shadows on the barn.
