  • Another dusk shot of Edinburgh from Calton Hill. This time looking straight down Prince Street, the main thoroughfare, showing light trails of the traffic as well as the iconic Balmoral Hotel, formerly one of the great railway company hotels. It’s clock, sitting high above the main rail station has always been set five minutes fast to help trady travellers catch their trains – the tradition continues to this day. Shot on a tripod mounted Nikon D300 and a Nikon 18-200 VR lens

  • A Panorama view of Downtown Winnipeg MB. 3 frames make up this photo. I originally shot 7 frames, 3 more frames to left and one more to the right, but it made too long of a panorama. I printed it off on 8.5”x11” sheets and put it together on a wall and it measured 5’8”. This section is just over 2’ on that scale.

  • This was shot from The top of the Arc De Triomphe looking along the Champ Elysee during my stay in Paris the capital of France June 2007 / Shot with a Nikon D70s and 18-70mm lens. This is a reprocessed version fresh from the Raw file. The previous HDR tonemapped image can be found HERE Some info taken fron Wikipedia: / The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a prestigious avenue in Paris, France. With its cinemas, cafés, luxury specialty shops and clipped chestnut trees, the Avenue des Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous streets in the world, and with rents as high as USD1.5 million per 1,000 square feet (92.9 square metres) of space, it remains the most expensive strip of real estate in Europe. The name is French for Elysian Fields, the place of the blessed dead in Greek mythology. / The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is known in France as La plus belle avenue du monde (“The most beautiful avenue in the world”). The arrival of global chain stores in recent years has slightly changed its character, and in a first effort to stem these changes, the City of Paris (which has called this trend “banalisation”) decided in 2007 to ban the Swedish clothing chain H&M from opening a store on the avenue. In 2008, however, American clothing chain Abercrombie & Fitch was given permission to open a store /
