  • Wandering around Manchester at night I liked the look of the town hall with this vivid blue sky behind and a wondeful fountain in front.

  • A fantastic and mesmeric original painting of Times Square, NY. The image size is 12” x 16” (30.5cm x 40.6cm). What it lacks in scale it makes up for in beauty; as you stare at its impressionistic brushstrokes, you’ll forget that it’s a painting and be gradually transported to Times Square itself, hear the noises and smell the smells. If you are a fan of New York, then this is the perfect painting for you.

  • This photograph marked the beginning of an unplanned 24 hour trip to New York City. It was an opportunity to experience a place the best way…to get lost in it. / / / /

  • New York Police Department in Time Square given HDR and texture treatment.

  • Market Square, Krakow.

  • A black and white image of Times Square, NY looking South if I remember correctly.

  • Three famous views of the City of Melbourne. Flinders Street Station, City view towards The Rialto, and Federation Square.

  • World is always rolling / blocks globe earth isolated Download Royal Free Images

  • Perhaps no place in any community is so totally democratic as the town library. The only entrance requirement is interest. Lady Bird Johnson

  • A clown makes whimsical balloon artworks in Market Square, Sydney.

  • I remembered I had a 360 panorama, so could not help myself! So here is the World of St Peter!

  • Woman on her cell, walking her little dogs in Times Square, New York City. / Jan 2009 / Nikon D80 w/24-120mm VR / Featured / Jan 31- Feb**, 2009 Group – Nikon D80 Users

  • the new look of Berlin

  • This is a section of mosaic at the back of the Old Merrion Centre Market, Leeds. / There are Large mosaic’s here. they have been here for a long time. They really are stunning pieces of outside public art. / They are situated on the outside corner, of the back of the Old Merrion market. / Wade Lane – Merrion Way road junction. It is quite a busy walk-way in and out of Leeds City Centre, but these murials get ignored and passed by without a glance from folk. They have been getting neglected over the past few years. There is nothing wrong with the mosaics, maybe one or two squares missing here or there, but nothing that a good clean wouldnt sort out. Today, when i was taking photographs of the very large mosaic picture on the wall (about 5 meters long X 3 meters high, somewhere round there), a couple of early 20’s girls were walking by and one said the the other, ‘Whats he taking pictures of, theres nothing there!!! I hope i have done this piece of fantastic wall art, some justice with this photograph

  • The old city of Kathmandu is an architectural marvel, with an eyeboggling attention to detail and artistic expression. The antiquity of the scene at Durbar square, the bustle of commerce, the smell of flowers, incense, cow dung, human waste, the sounds of the ancient city and the array ofcolours combine to make this one of my favourite places to sit and be absorbed. Nikon FM2, kodachrome slide film, scanned at 3600 dpi, grime and mould cleaned as best as possible in ACDSee Pro….

  • At the Pride Fair, Taylor Square, Sydney Please support the This is Oz Campaign and help to end homophobia

  • A view of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

  • I thought that since I posted At the Deer Sanctuary the other day, telling the story of witnessing the early morning magic before racing off into the city for a regular day’s work … well … I thought I should post the direct contrast :) ... Because things have been so crazy at work of late, we thought it might be a nice idea to do something together that’s non-work related … something a little different … / well … we went for drinks (not highly original), in the bar at the top of our building (just can’t get away from work) ... but we do work in the tallest building in the Square Mile, so the thinking all made sense. We went up to Vertigo which is the champagne bar on the 42nd floor of Tower 42 ... this is the old NatWest tower my luck? chuckles ... the sky was hanging low with an abundance of cloud … and the clouds couldn’t contain themselves either … it was raining … properly ... I couldn’t believe I was finally heading up to the top of the Tower, paying a small fortune for a drink so as to earn the privilege of taking some photos … just to be getting such insipid weather !!! So … seeing that I have a sense of humour, I took the camera out anyway … and figured I should post the shot … because it is indeed in direct and perfect contrast to the Deer Santuary start of day shot … !! chuckles ... you understand of course that now I’ve been up there I want to go back up when I like the weather & light a little better !!! ;) Click here for a larger view
